Though Nandish Sandhu aka veer and Rashmi Desai aka Tapasya of Uttaran, formalised their year-long affair with a court marriage sometime back, the couple have not really got a chance to go on an 'official' honeymoon.

A family wedding recently came as a blessing in disguise when this couple could take some time and fly off to Canada for a fortnight. Says Nandish, "The houses there are cute, no big buildings, just farmhouses and strawberry fields. It was an awesome experience." Among other sightseeing trips, they also indulged in some adventure sports like white water rafting. "It was our first time and Rashmi was nervous but I loved it. I am an adventurous kind of a person and for me it was the best part of the trip," he says.

So, when will they go for their honeymoon? "That will come later. We are looking forward to a 'proper' wedding first. We had a court marriage and since both families believe in rituals we want to do it the traditional way. Rashmi believes in following all rituals and prayers and our wedding will have everything from a sangeet, to a mehendi to a proper wedding and griha pravesh."
