If I had to rank the characters of Uttaran according to their goodness I'd have done thus: 1.ICHCHA. 2.JOGI THAKUR. 3.DAMINI 4.MADURA 5.VEER. I have my reasons...Before divulging them I'd like to hear the opinions of others,if they would kindly care to do so.

Ichaa is good but to the extent of hiding truth, sacrificing and lying which inturn causes hurt to others. so i would not put her at #1.

Jogi is definitely #1 in rank of goodness for me.

Veer is #2 for me since he has been so loyal and loves Ichaa from the beginning.

definetly jogi #1 he alway did what was right, umed is #2 always stuck what he believes in, #3 madhura fo being good friend (tapasya should learn thing or two form madhura about friendship) #4 tie between veer and damini they both are good people but some times they just take worng decision or believe other pople then they should, #5 iccha, she is good but sometime too good that just irritate people

Ichcha is First for she is flawless in thoughts,speech,behaviour.😊Not wishing to hurt the feelings of nearest and dearest ones she always weighs the pros and cons of every action done.She is dutiful,respectful to her elders even when they are unjust.Think of the days at her Sasural.She is protective of the weak,old and children.She also has the courage to protest when she sees any wrong done to others.She unselfishly sacrifices herself for the sake of good of others.👏 Jogi Thakur is a morally upright man.At times he can be too strict,like when he drove out Tappu without thinking where the young girl would go and what dangers could befall her.Unknowingly he was responsible for the death of Ichcha's father--a sin for which he will be repentant till the last day of his life.All his good deeds towards Ichcha and her mother were done because he wanted to expunge the blame of that one sin.He ranks Second.😊

@ Monalisa! I agree with your ranking. But you left out Umed. He is one of the purest souls and one of my favourite characters too. If he too were in the race, he should come in 2nd position next to iccha.

even i would put jogi 1st n thn veer. but ichcha s also gud 2 sum extent n she lies nly whn te case s abt te happiness of her family.i wl put her in 3rd n accordng 2 me even damini shares te same 3rd place...no difference bw damini n ichcha!

Now my reasons:- While Ichcha is epitome of overflowing compassion and Jogi Thakur is epitome of ever-flowing generosity as well as justice,Damini stands as perfect example of gratitude and unparalled service to her benefactor.Madura acts as guardian angel to Veer,giving him sound advice.😊I've put Veer at no.5 because ---- 1.He doubted Ichcha's intentions when she warned him about Satya and his sister.Also,he distrusted her when she told truth about Tappu. 2.Veer is no good judge of character and easily trusts the likes of Satya,Avinash and even Tappu.Only he fails to have complete faith in Ichcha! 3.Veer seems not to know the habits/nature of Ichcha.Even Avinash knows that Ichcha is a daily reader of newspapers and will surely turn up once she reads the advertisement for she loves Veer whole-heartedly. 4.When Ichcha doesn't arrive Veer is so upset that he decides to scamper off to America instead of seeking Ichcha! 5.And I must say that Veer is not only quick at finding Ichcha's faults but also in using bitter words of sarcasm when he is pricked.Not like sweet Ichcha who desists from criticisms.😃

I too feel the same. Umed is a positive and a good character. He always stood by Ichcha and supported Veer and has always wanted Veecha to be together. He has always raised his voice for Veecha's happiness. Whenever Ichcha was insulted by Tapasya, Chanda, or nani he used to shut their mouth by reminding them that Ichcha is the bahu of this house. So he should be added to the list. Comparitively, Umed is more prominent in this show than Madura. This is my view. What do you think? And I can rank them as

1. Jogi Thakur

2. Ichcha

3. Veer

4.Umed

5.Damini

6.Madura

😆my top five:

1. Tapu😉 - absolutely no competition for this ranking. No one love her, but still she selflessly think abt everybody's welfare and for tht she can go to any extend, like to give the waris to Bundela, she slept with starnger , becoz Veer was non productive😆. most importantly she believe in neki kar daria me dal and never tell abt her social welfare work to anyone and dont want to take any credit for tht😉 she is living example for pure divine love and she is so generous in love tht even she can love her RAPIST😆😆 her heart is so big tht there is always place for everybody😆😆 she also good example to study criminal psychology absolutely mobile live social laboratory😉😉

2. Nani - Absolutely selfless woman, and to make Tapu so mahan she hs big hand, but she just left behind Tapu, becoz Tapu run ahead of her mentor😆😆 she selflessly think only abt her Gulabjamun and follow her like with Tapu Nani free offer.😆😆

3. Mai - Very caring mother, who protect her sons from any odds, thts why always impose her wishes on thm so tht they cd not bhatkofying. She is very kind hearted person, who can forgive the killer of her son and pamper her like bahu prefering over her own real bahu😆😆

4. Dada - Wht a strong character, do nothing but command everybody. this is call strong personality. no movement, no any physical activities but still not diabetic😆😆 and most importantly so confidence tht even having nazayaz aulad, he dont hegitate to give moral lecture😆😆

5. There r few condidates for this but basically Pushar - for being so truthfull tht he accept he is Kamina😆 (very pure soul), Divya - being a mother of Tapu like daughter is enough to make her gr8 person😆😆
