This lady who delivered tapasya's baby has been tapasya's doctor from the beginning. They are different.

Ichha met dr. soni when she had gone to get her head bandaged from the chandelier incident.

However, i agree that they could have shown ichha defending her truth with reports etc... and instead of saying "yeh bachcha kisi aur ka hai" she could have said it is rathore's child.

Ichcha could have proved, but she chose not to, because she got disillusioned and hurt when Veer, whose love she was so confident about, said that he lost his trust on her and doubted her good intentions, though she did a foolish thing by hiding his reports earlier. Just before Veer came with his positive report also, Ichcha was telling Tapasya that she would be very happy if his report was positive and that she had great trust in their love that there would not be any misunderstanding between her and Veer. This belief got shattered when Veer said, 'You will tell that Tapasya's baby is not mine and I will believe it? You will say that I am impotent and I will believe it?'.. Look at the way he used such harsh words.. His male ego was hurt and it made him react to her truth emotionally with out seeing reason. His heart ruled his head in this instance, and instead of investigating Tapasya's claims by contacting Dr. Soni and seeing his earlier report and the prescription, he chose not to believe Ichcha, as that is easier, as she is a timid girl who can be abused and taken for granted by everybody every day and later the matter can be closed with a simple word, 'Sorry'.

Even when Ichcha cautioned about S & S, Veer was very rude to her and admonished her and refused to believe her, without giving value to her words and she risked her life drinking the drug laced potion, to save Veer. Even after that, he now refuses to believe her and she cannot be expected to prove her honesty constantly, as she can see that he has lost his trust in her and she has lost the will to prove herself right because she is extremely hurt by his mistrust of her as expressed in her letter. She has always been portrayed as a very timid girl and if somebody talks to her rudely and loudly, she goes into her shell and finds it difficult to talk, even if she is right and there have been numerous instances of her keeping quiet when Nani, Mai, Daddaji, Divya, Vansh and now Veer accused her unjustly. She put up with all the insults and abuses hurled at her by the Btoons only because of her love for Veer, and now when Veer himself started mistrusting her, she felt that there was no meaning in her staying there any further. She did a foolish thing, but did not anticipate Veer's reaction because she had immense trust in their relationship.
