I too suspected the same because how did S & S get to know Veer's plans to come to the hotel which was planned in secret only by Tapasya? Taps has not changed at all and she is using her 'friendship' emotional blackmail on Ichcha whenever she wants to get her way, especially after the threat of Ichcha to get out of B house in 15 days time. So she has just joined hands with S & S and is acting like 'Pativrata Shiromani' so that she gets everyone's appreciation and is not thrown out or exposed by Ichcha regarding her kid. She does not really care about Veer suffering in jail, because we have already seen what she did when Veer was in jail accused of killing Vansh.
Even in the earlier episodes, when she poisons Sid's mind against Ichcha and instigates him to kill her, after that scene, she comes home to Ichcha's room and starts holding her ears and asks for forgiveness and talks about how they were friends in childhood and hugs her with her usual twisted face reserved for the audience and the dumb Ichcha falls for it and happily hugs her back. This time they have not shown that twisted face behid Ichcha's back or that usual bg music denoting her treachery, in order to give the ultimate twist to the audience. Only thing is, in all her scheming, she has reckoned with out Rathore's reaction. She, in her over confidence, thinks that she can hoodwink and tackle the tough Mr. Rathore, which will prove to be her undoing eventually😊
