Sick of Stupid shows on Colors TV - Page 2

THANK YOU SO MUCH for making this topic. Color has to be worst channel on indian television. WAY TO REGRESSIVE, NARROW MINDED, CONSERVATIVE THINKING. I don't follow Uttaran on a regular basis. Sometimes i watch it on TV or just read the update here. Most time we blame it on show creatives for showing stupid, illogical tracks but don't forget channel is equally responsible that.

Ashiwini yardi needs to start thinking about making shows like Mukti Bandhan instead pathetic crap like Laddo, Phulwa, Matti ki banno, rishot se badi pratha (this show is way too violent).

i agree wid u Mukti Bandhan is the ultimate high class intelligent show...i ll be happy if other channels brings such shows...

I agree with all the comments posted by all the members.. i used to watch LTL and Uttaran.. both the shows are getting pathetic, m comfortable reading the regular updates provided rather than watching.. but its high time to quit that as well.. 😡

hey but the crap seved by COLORS is atleast watchable...much better than SP Zeetv...huh...

Colours started off as a very colourful,delightful and zzesty channel with a lot of promise 👏👍🏼
But midway colours got BLEACHED/DHO DAALA by silly stories(and thrown away by viewers(visual washerwomen/men)😭 and hence there are no colours only black and white.👎🏼👎🏼
Sad the channel is dead before it lived even an infant's life.Let the departed soul rest in peace.

I totally understand your frustration. Just be careful with the use of certain language because of forum rules and others who might find it offensive. But you are justified in your anger and frustration. Actually, we are equally at fault for watching these shows. I keep watching Uttaran and BV in the hopes that maybe, just maybe, the story will take a decent turn with actual plot lines and exciting stories. But each and every time I get disappointed and my frustration doubles. My family thinks I am crazy for watching these shows but tell me, is it wrong to want a strong heroine and a strong positive story line. I am sure these buggers will attract more audience with strong characters and positive messages. I remember back in the days Doordarshan used to have pretty decent serials (sainik, hum log, circus, Rajni, Quiz Show by Siddharth Basue-AWESOME SHOW etc) But with the explosion of media in India, these so called entertainers have stooped down to crass and crude forms of entertainment, where characters lie, cheat, murder, connive and collude.

Forget providing a positive social message, even at the lowest benchmark of pure entertainment, these shows STINK.

I dont know if any these entertainers read this forum. But I implore them to write better stuff and create stories that make sense to modern India. You are sending this potent toxic poison every day into our living rooms in the name of entertainment. We have the choice to switch the TV channels, but with each channel dishing out similar garbage, I can only watch Musical and dance shows such as DID and Music ka Maha muqabla etc. Everything else is plain TRASH.

from my part the colours channel is full of chootiyas, the serials are also full with choothiyas supported with sponsors who should also be labled as chootiyas and b watching these serials they are also making the viewers choothiyas.(sorry for my language can't help it man)

not only this channel. any chanel showing nonsense like these should be banned.

if u r so much fed up wid COLORS channel then who is forcing u to watch huh...i dont get y u ppl r always ready to bash actors and channels...oh common Colors serials are much good then SP zee tv...huh...

we are not debating the merit of colors over SP Zee. The issue is the lack of intelligent entertainment in Indian TV media. Every channel you turn to, its the same Saas-Bahu, Women-against-Women, dirty old kitchen politics trash. the only shows that seem to be decent enough to watch are musical and dance reality shows. there are other reality shows like big-boss and crunch, which are crude and plain stupid.

i am sure many many of you like me watch serials online via dailymotion or serialplus etc sites. its a nice option because i can choose to forward bits and pieces that are nonsensical. so if colors thinks they are getting big dollars in sponsorship and advertisement because their shows are doing great, they need to realize that they will get a much more HUGE viewership if the stories are sensible.

Other TV channels are not absolved, Colors is a symptom of a problem.
