Sick of Stupid shows on Colors TV

I am so inclined to petition to Colors to stop showing this stupid show. The writers have no imagination. The writers alongwith producers think the viewers are dumb and will take any cr*p they throw.

Actually, we are the ones to be blamed. We continue to comment and react in the forum and CVs are dumb enough to think that our reactions are actually our "interest" in the show.

Dont you guys think Indian Media, including channels such as Star plus, Sony, Sahara, Zee and Colors constantly churn out stupid mediocre, mindless fare? We watch it because there are few good alternative forms of entertainment. The stories almost always pits women against women, the social message in these stories are pathetic ( balika vadhu for example has no life of her own, Uttaran - is constantly pitting two girls against each other for cheap thrills, na aana is des lado - what the heck is that show all about? never understood, never related with it.)

the other day I happened to bump into a show called Phulwa - and the scene that was playing out showed the title character called Phulwa tied to a tree, held captive by a goon. The girl cudnt be more than 10 and the goon is walking menacingly towards her with a handful of sindoor. Apparently, he wants to smear sindoor on her to mark a revenge wedding. What a FARCE!!!

Then there is Uttaran - utterly mediocre, below average show. Color TV should be ashamed of showing such dull and utterly inconsequential shows.

The cake goes to balika vadhu - at the end of each episode we get a Moral Science lesson - "Agar pathi apni pathni ko chodtha hai tho aksar pathni ko peptic ulcer ki beemari ho jaathi hai aur ghar ke kisi ko patha nahi chaltha"!!! What a load of nonsense!!!

I think most of us are here exactly for the reasons mentioned by Gaurikhandekar

It is indeed more fun to interact with the members who are so much fun and can make even the worst shows into a hilarious discussion.

I cannot comment on other channels as I do not watch any...but Colors surely takes the cake...Thankfully from time to time there are some good reality shows like India's got Talent and musical ones that is worth watching.

lol, i used to be in awe for colors when it started , but now all it shows is negative cheap tracks in name of entertainment ,

i agree with ur point about the channel colors...one serial it is shown about multiple marriage it is okay, but in all the serials of colors, they show utter immorality...balika vadhu the teenage boy who waited days together in the desert to see his wife suddenly falls in love with another girl and is ready to leave his wife, bhagyvidhatha a son is taken away by the inlaws forcefully, phulwa what u mentioned, uttaran everything is questionable, maati ka banno again a man marrying twice, laddo even i dont understand what it is all about, totally the channel just promotes immorality as a whole...and the evil never gets punished in this channel, they continue to be the protagonists and is glorified...

But I saw a scene while surfing channels.. it was hilarious..It was in maati ka banno.. The first wife begs the hero, saying that she wants nothing from him but only a small place..in their bedroom corner.. Then the guy agrees to it and the guy and his second wife sleep on the cots and the first wife sleeps in the same room on the floor and observes these two.. What a perverted comedy?.. Who thinks of such stupid and convoluted scenes and situations, we do not know... Soon I think Uttaran also will borrow such ideas from other serials..😆

@TM i agree wid u!!👏👏 and its also true that not only shows on colors but even on oder channels they show crap though may b less than colors!!🤢🤢🤢 earlier this crap was dished out by starplus & now leader is colors. i think there was a channel 9x which was out of this race after 1st few shows which ran 4 1 or 2 yrs. and i think they were better shows!! but now watching colors shows i think its fate wud've been also the same!!!🤢🥱🥱

i don't know wat 2 watch if not these. u can avoid 1 show or 2 or even 4-5 shows but not all. afterall we've 2 watch sumthing. and we can't even watch discovery, natgeo, history or TLC all the time as sumtimes they r showing repeated shows!! and how much can we watch these channels so much?? how many times one can watch same wild life sanctury's shoots??🥱🥱🥱

Watch movies...😉😉 Much more rewarding in my opinion but I like the crime serials CSI etc.😊

aditiji i agree that movies r better but problem is they start either at 7pm or 8 pm or 9 pm & all these time slots r preoccupied by either of the family members or oderwise we r busy wid household chores or prefer 2 read sum books!
