So she is mistaking this obsession with love for Veer because she cannot see Ichcha getting one-upmanship over her by having Veer..

Now she is too deep into this drama of fake waaris for Bundela parivar that she will be humiliated if this thing is exposed and it will be a loss of face for her.... So she does not want to lose Veer even after knowing about his infertility and that is why she is trying to silence Ichcha by reminding her of their childhood friendship and trying to manipulate her as usual, not out of true love for Veer, but out of her need to save her face..
