Tapu knows very well how to get her dresses altered - or better still discard the old one (now to Masoom since Ichcha is not around) and get herself new ones. She does not need any excuse for shopping. The reason for bringing it to Divya is to highlight to her that she is gaining weight. This is part of the Nani-plan, setting up for her fake pregnancy. However, it is rather sad for Tappu. Now that she is getting more rishta it is rather silly of her to chase the one with dead-end. Who knows may be CVS will find a really good alliance for Tappu - but then Tappu herself is all set to sabotage it.

Nani started to plan after Masoom made a statement that Tappu should be in her sasuraal. The plan was not elaborated - now it is being enacted. Possible - right?
