loved todays episode for that lovely smile on Ichcha's face after ages...n that to due to Veer's thoughtful gift to Ichcha...
Tapasya did not let us down by showing her greed for making more money...though I doubt she will leave Raghu...still the very idea of wanting to decieve the person who pulled her out of the mess she had made for herself was disgusting
and tomoro atlast veer will be soooo relieved to know that this disease has moved on n left him to be healthy again...

Yes, it was nice to see Ichcha smile even if it for a short while

A fellow member Arunima requested me to see Sasural Genda Phool which I watched yesterday.

Point 1 - Can't make a judgement as it was the 1st time I had seen it but the larger point was that as soon as it started it was very funny in parts. This was what struck me with a sledgehammer. We are all watching a serial which has not had an inch of happiness in goodness knows how long.

Now can anyone tell me when we laughed spontaneously in Uttaran??

I know this is a family drama but do families not laugh together? There are sad, black days, sulking days, bad days and very happy fun-filled days in every family. Why has this never been factored in for Uttaran.

Na aana is desh lado is a very black serial but even that had some fun moments when the dacoit Amba entered the serial.

Balika Vadhu had wonderful fun moments when Avika was still in the serial and they have their share of crying too.

The characters in Uttaran are so down all the time with one issue or the other that everyone celebrates if Ichcha smiles or Veer smiles or anyone smiles. Only the dubious characters are smiling in Uttaran. Yet nobody has laughed out loud till now. What kind of family values are these?

I would welcome all your opinions since I honestly feel I do not have to watch Uttaran everyday, I would rather read the daily updates which are very well written and at least then it is left up to my imagination and I don't need to see the actual sad faces.

I would also like anyone member to tell me if there is a pure comedy serial. I have had it with all this sadness.

I can see how much the viewers have appreciated just a small smile from Ichcha.

I hope this is the beginning of happier times for her. She has been sad and crying long enough and it would do the serial a huge amount of good to bring happiness in her life however slowly it may happen.

Besides think what it would do for Tapasya's character to know that Ichcha despite her situation is actually happy!!!!! She would be mad!!!

Now there's a thought which I hope has struck the creative team.
