Uttaran has a 'Badmash Company' - Article

Uttaran maybe going through a sad phase at present with Vansh's death but the cast and crew of the show are having a blast on the sets of the show.

Recently, we caught hold of one of the 'badmash company' member, Pragati Mehra, who plays Thakurain and checked if it was true and she said, "Vaishali Thakkar (Ammo), Nandita Mehra (director), Ayub Khan (Thakur) and I are like a house on fire from day one. Whenever all of us are together people wonder if any work will happen on that day. All of us keep looking forward to being together on the sets." Looks like the four are a gang of pranksters, "No, Vaishali is the shareef one. In fact she is often shocked by some of our comments. The rest of us are a mischievous lot."

Pragati plays Ayub's wife in the show and they have gelled along pretty well. But was it the same when they met for the first time, "We were supposed to go for a look test together as we were paired as a couple. At that point of time I had this different image of Ayub. I felt he is a star and comes from a big lineage so, he will throw tantrums."

But things changed after she met him. "He was so generous from the first day itself and we hit it off well. He is a gentleman to the core. He respects women and offers his seat even to the junior artist." About the director, she says, "Nandita is complete masti."

Looks like this gang of four know to have fun even when the screen goings-on are far from funny!
