Tapu is standing outside Vansh's room and is worried about her plan backfiring- with Vansh refusing to marry Ichha, leaving Veer free to chase Ichha again. She fearfully knocks on Vansh's door again and enters the room when hears no response from inside. On entering, she finds Vansh staring at the wall. Tapu asks Vansh, if everything is okay? And as she turns to face the wall is baffled to see Veer-Ichha pics. She acts surprised to see the pics and reassures, a stunned Vansh, that these pics are of the past and have no significance today. She tries to coax Vansh into coming downstairs with her.
Vansh, on the other hand, refuses to budge. He cannot fathom that his Ichha and Lalla knew each other intimately, without his knowledge. Explaining, Tapu tells Vansh, that these pics represent events that occurred in the past, when Veer's proposal had come for her, but Veer had fallen in love with Ichha, and their families had agreed to Veer-Ichha marriage. Tapu adds that she does not why, but somehow, the marriage did not take place. Instead of Ichha, she (Tapu) married Veer as she loved him dearly. Veer-Ichha's love and broken marriage are events of the past, and mean nothing to herself, Veer or Ichha. They have all moved on and do not want to delve in the past, just as he (Vansh) should. Tapu tells Vansh that she loves Veer and Ichha him, therefore, he should go to the mandap. Tapu's explanations do not satisfy Vansh, who still can't get over the fact that neither Veer nor Ichha told him about their past? How could his Lalla and Ichha be together, without his knowledge? Tapu, once again, tries to pacify Vansh by reminding him how much Ichha loves him. Tapu gets forcefully pushed away by Vansh, when she tries to lead him downstairs. Vansh determinedly, tells a scared Tapu, that he will not go downstairs.
Confronting her worst nightmare, Tapu goes downstairs to get Nani's help, as she is at a complete loss of ideas. Walking back to the mandap, Tapu is thinking to herself that she did all this because she wanted Ichha to suffer for marital love, just as she has, not for the marriage not to take place. She selfishly enquires what will become of her if Vansh refuses to marry Ichha, and curses herself for being too hasty in revealing Veer-Ichha truth, and that, she should have waited till after the wedding. Coming down the stairs, Tapu sees Veer looking at her suspiciously, and prays that Veer does not go up to call Vansh. She tells herself, that if she gets caught this time, Veer will not forgive her, and will reveal her devious ways to everyone (something he had not done on his own wedding day).
At the mandap, everyone is concerned about the missing groom. Mami comments that Ichha is unlucky on her wedding days. Last time it was the bride who was delayed in coming to the mandap, this time it is the groom. Ammo, nervous by the possibility of another bad omen being cast on the wedding, decides to go look for Vansh, when she cleverly gets detracted by Nani, who asks her to receive her basti friends and relatives at the door.
In the meantime, Tapu discreetly approaches Nani, and tells her that she has to stop Veer from going to Vansh and that Vansh is refusing to come down. Engrossed in their secretive conversation, they are joined by Veer, who takes Tapu aside and asks her where is Vansh Bhaiya? Tapu nervously answers that he is changing his sherwani in the room and will be down shortly. Veer sternly asks her if she is planning any of her old tricks again. Tapu appears shocked, and tells him that she knew he would blame her for Vansh Bhaiya too. Losing his patience, Veer tells Tapu, that he will get Vansh Bhaiya himself. However, he gets stopped by a group of girls who start teasing him as the groom's brother.
Seeing Veer retreat, Nani and Tapu make a dash for Vansh's room. Vansh, all this while, is still standing and looking at the pics on the wall. Like Tapu, Nani tries to cajole Vansh. She tells him that the pics are a relic of the past and accordingly should be buried as ancient history. She requests Vansh to come downstairs, only to find, a defiant Vansh refusing to go down. The camera freezes on a shocked Nani and Tapu.
Precap: Nani is angrily telling a shocked Vansh, that the past he is talking about is well known to his mother, father, and even his beloved dadaji.
