It's not Vansh, but Tapu who is the ultimate psychopath.
The problem with Vansh is that he deserves a better wife than Ichha but does not yet realize this.
He is being a little abusive as he is a drug addict and doesn't know how to control his inner conflicting feelings. On the one hand, Madam Tapu manipulated Vansh into thinking that only Icha can be his wife. On the other hand, marrying Icha is making Vansh feel uncomfortable and it's making him him feel there is something missing in this relationship.
Icha's Mother warned her about not marrying an addict, but Icha never listened to her Mum. It is unfortunate that Jogi went to his wife for advice about Icha's proposal, rather than asking Dhamini, who is clearly full of apprehensions for her daughter.
Icha is a naive, proud, teenaged girl who doesn't always respect her elder's wishes over her so-called 'friend' Tapu.
Tapu is an extremely spoilt, arrogant, narcissist - psychopath, a control freak, who is Icha's worst enemy.
Icha has an identity crisis as she hasn't found her life purpose and she thinks that serving Tapu's every need is her fulfillment in life. Also feeling guilty for Pares's death and not being there for him when he needed her and then her mother's words about giving everything to Tapu since a young age, Icha's mind is always tangled with conflicting values and finds it too stressful to hear new words of wisdom and to change.
Vansh, has his own inner conflicts and has not realized what marriage is or what love means. He doesn't yet realize that Icha is not his dream, but just a friend who gave him some advice when he was in need.
Vansh becomes uncontrollable when he is angry and reacts violently when his hopes are dashed. All his life, negativity has influenced and dominated his goals and happiness. What he needs as Jogi said, someone to take care of him, 24/7 day a week, nurse. No doubt he may abuse Icha without meaning to.
Vansh does deserve a wife who will love him, but not Icha who only wants to take pity on him to rid herself of her own guilt about Pares's death, and to force her besharam, narcissist companion Tapu who btw already had a boyfriend, on to another's man and destroying Veer's life.
If Vansh got his brother's support was taken good care of by his mother, father and family and was told him the truth about Icha Veer when he asked if there was something wrong, and was coached about the true meaning of love and marriage, he would not have held on to Icha as a possession, or a new drug, the way he has done, but instead would helped Veer and Icha to get married.
It was very unwise of theor mother to promote the marriage of Icha to the elder brother, Vansh when she already knew that Icha was proposed to Veer and she is his fiance.
I don't see it getting better in the near future. It is quite obvious either Vansh will get married to Icha or he will kill himself with overuse of drugs, unless there is logic and a sensible twist which is unlikely at this stage since the drama has to continue on and on.
It's also not nice to watch Vansh kissing and hugging Icha, even though Icha and Tapasya are only chracters, the directors should take care to promote these ladies reputation and not allow men to harm their honor.
I stopped watching this show but I had to catch up. Now this drama is getting far worse than I originally thought and far too lengthy, I don't think I'll be able to have time or the energy continue watching it.
