Promise::::: broken

when Uttaran had started i liked the show for its simplicity , it is realistic approach, emotional portion..great acting......... When it had started it was great........if the creative had shown iccha to fullfilling her dream inspite of two friends realatonship . .........it could turn out to be a milestone..................under previlage student could realte to the story. Like iccha even i am a school teacher.. in a small school i ahd seen little girls of poor background even boys can relate to the show and details of poverty .....now Uttaran has become another Saas-Bahu drama...........for adults.......it may be getting high Trp but it had broken promise,.................we elders had so many shows to see this rivalry .but those little kids really miss thier Iccha.............by whom they can see thier dreams to be fullfilled...............

hmmmn I agree, I raised questions to the channel/makers of Uttaran as well, but alaas little did i know that there would be no differance in the outcome. I wonder that may becoz be we lack enough people with strength of character to call bad BAD.

There is no denying that Ichcha and Tappu as kids amassed a lot of credit to Uttaran's fame.
It has been on my mind for the last few days as to what message your famous vital character been tuned to give the little ones watching it. My nephew and niece being part of that huge audience. When I called them recently and hinted them about the story circulated on the internet I could feel their pain but I have to say they were very optimistic that Veer is not going to do such a thing. For them Veer is a true hero who knows the difference between good, bad and ugly.
I sincerely wish that their faith in your character wins. Hope innocent minds such as those are not disappointed and misguided in life.

There is a very huge responsibility on the part of Uttaran's makers towards this innocent audience (even more) for capitalising their innocence in the initial episodes of Uttaran. Hope it is not too late before they realise that they have been letdown by themselves.

tapasya and tapasya even without being together are the heart of the show. im sick of cryng and sacrificing and shaking icha. at least tapu has some guts.

if they reduce iccha then the viewership falls we have seen that as a good examaple of trp;s

anyways tap water's anrkali act wont last much longer as when iccha enter bundela bar 2-3 weeks later then to sab ram hi rakhe! 😈

If you are interested you may continue to read the following addressed to the makers of Uttaran on the 12 september 2009by email via their feedback address, soon after I read it on the net about the twist. I cant vouch if they have read my mail.

Hi, This feed back is about Uttaran addressed to its Director/Producer/Story writer and also to the Colors channel. I feel that the story of Uttaran has been excellent so far and that all the actors/actresses are doing a fantastic job. Thanks to the director and the whole team involved. In this current day scenario when there is gloom all over the world, I feel that this serial is showing something positive which brings hope and cheer to all, unlike the other televised dramas which are highlighting negativity. I gather from the media that Veer is going to marry Tappu and not Ichcha. I regret to say that this is going to be a huge blunder for the much anticipated success for Uttaran and everyone else involved with this project. I hope that this does not happen and instead challenges can be posed to the happily married couple (Veer & Ichcha) to show us the audiences how issues can be sorted by being a loving & understanding married couple. I feel this will help the audience gain a meaningful message from your daily soap. May God help you take a wise decision in playing with the emotions of all the audiences involved. God Bless.

I was told that the twists were required to run the show, but wrong messages will not be given thro Uttaran. Records are broken for the heights of evilness and saadism in this soap coz of perfect selection of characters potraying those roles. Wah kya nazar tha, jo bhee inko select kiya hats off.

U know I dont think Veer wll ever Love Tapu he'll maybe just compromise with his fate like Icha and Jogi have...
