December 5, 2009 Written Update - Hour Long Special Episode
Veer tells Ichcha to be careful, since her dupatta was about to get caught in the wheel of the auto. Ichcha tells the auto driver to go, and she is driven away. At the hospital, Jogi is slowly recovering and Ichcha comes in with flowers for him. She requests him to meet Taps, but he looks away. At the Bundela house, Chanda goes to talk to Gunwanti. She praises Taps and her modest behavior. She inquires about why Veer never talks to her though, but then answers herself and assumes that they must be shy. She suggests holding a puja for the 2 of them that very day, and Gunwanti agrees.
Taps is waiting outside of her room for Veer and Chanda comes there. Veer arrives there and smiles at Chanda, but gives a disgusted look at Taps. Chanda notices this. In their room, Taps tells Veer that a package came today for him from a famous designer. She opens the package in front of him and finds a beautiful dress inside. She holds it up to herself, but finds it is too short. He tells her that it was meant for his to be wife, Ichcha. She fumes and says that its Ichcha that wears her clothes, not the other way around. He tells her that if she can steal Ichcha's Veer from her, she shud be able to do anything. He leaves the room in anger, and Tapasya throws the dress on the ground. Chanda sees this, and smiles.
Veer goes to talk to Vansh. He starts talking to him about the time when they were children and Vansh taught him how to tie his shoes. Veer tells him that when he was in America, he always thought about him. Vansh is touched hearing this but gets angry when Veer tells him that everyone in the family loves him. He screams and tells Veer that if they loved him, they wudnt keep him locked up like an animal. Veer tells him that its not too late to restart his life, but Vansh tells him he's lived like this for 13 years now, and its too late for him.
At the mandir, Chanda meets Tej. She tells him that since he called her, she came here. He tells her that he has some work for her to do, that will benefit the both of them. She is shocked hearing his plan (which he narrates in mute) and then leaves. She goes home to her room and pulls a red saree out from under her bedsheet. She wraps it around herself talking about how her Kanha will come for her tonight, and then she can live in luxury, free to do and eat whatever she wishes. She thinks that before she leaves, she should probably get some jewelry from Gunwanti though.
Dadaji is being served food by Taps. Chanda reaches there and starts praising her innocent and nice behavior. She tells Dadaji that Taps is such a good bahu that she doesn't even eat food until everyone is done. She requests Taps to get her a glass of milk, with some elachi, badam, and others. Taps rolls her eyes but goes to get it. Gunwanti is packing in her room when Chanda comes there and sneaks a ring into her saree. She admires a necklace and Gunwanti tells Chanda to keep it. She refuses at first, but then takes it.
At the basti, Iccha and some of the kids are on the lookout for Paras. They find a kid who takes them to a place Paras usually goes to do drugs. They arrive at a run down place with garbage everywhere and find Paras fallen down among the mess. In the Bundela house, Taps is in her room with food when Chanda comes there and reminds her that she needs to do a puja today. Taps who is already tired is irritated, and is more annoyed when Chanda tells her to make 5-10 parathas and a sabzi for her in the evening.
Taps goes downstairs to do the puja and adorn the statues. Chanda stops her and reminds her to wash the jewelry, put haldi/kumkum on it, and then adorn the statues. Taps is getting more and more annoyed. Chanda praises Taps and how she knows how to do everything, despite being a girl from the city. At night, Taps goes into her room and Veer begins to leave. She screams at him asking why she's being treated like this after all the work she has to do in one day. She tells him that she's become nothing more than a servant. He laughs and then says that he realizes that God is just after all. She begs to him that she is ready to do anything for him to accept her. He asks her if she's willing to do anything, and asks her to free him of this relationship so he can go to his Ichcha. She yells at him. End.
