Harleen made Aliya hate her mother for these years. When Aasmaa finds out the truth, she'll hate her mother too. And that will be Harleen's karma. I would say Harleen also had her own reasons. She was fooled repeatedly by Nekham and Jasmine. She had decided to walk away without harming anyone more than once but someone or other stopped her with false promises. Then Ekam's actions.. he basically used her as a pawn to control Nehmat. She forgave that too. But to find out that your husband is going to have a child with his ex-gf. Must have been too emotionally draining. So she did have her own reasons to do whatever she did. And Nekham did not help the case with their stupidity and lies. Unlike with Fatejo and Jasmine, Nekham did play a role in shaping Harleen's character.

Oh yes, harleen's karma is still due.

See, I'm not saying that Alia is right or she's right to ruin anyone's right BUT her reason of becoming villain was actually convincing unlike Jasmine who's just pure brat insistent on getting everything and everyone. She's still the villain, still in wrong but I found the reason behind that better than Jasmine's.

I think this is where Tejo's philosophy makes sense to me. Either confront and bring down people or let it go. Yes, Harleen was cheated on, by Ekam, who used both Nehmat and Harleen acc to his own convenience. Her stance was actually worse than previous gen, because she forgave Ekam, who was the worst, but kept grudges against Nehmat. Nehmat had moved away, but Harleen stole the kid, and that's where her arc completely changed. That's an act which changed the entire character. And tbh despite everything, she proved that she's not a good person or a good mother. She is unable to have a genuine relationship with anyone, revenge against Nehmat and Ekam, using Aasma and Alia as pawns and even then Aasmaa did not get her values from her. She ruined her own kids lives.

I emphathize with Aliya for the ma beti confrontation part. She had been longing for Harleen for long when she was in India and she got the reality check when she revealed the actual truth. She lost her real mother and her adoptive mother both. That being said, I am glad that she got what she deserved. She tried to kill supposed baby of Aasma; that is too truel. She could be taken attempted to murder! So I do not feel sorry if she gets the punishment for her bad deeds.

As far as parenting is concerned, Tejo is the best mother. When she got to know Nehmath was a criminal daughter she was conscious and she wanted to give every good value to Nehmat. She is like this today because of Fatejo's upbringings. They never made her feel abandoned or insecure. But Nehkam did parenting by neglecting Aliya. When Nehmat kept repeating to Ekam about Aliya's behaviour, he overlooked it. Nehmat also did not try to check on Aliya as a mother nor did she try to tell the truth. They should have ended this rift between mom and daughter as early as possible. No they thought it would be better to just hide the truth. Hiding the truth can create more misunderstanding. *sigh*

Harleen got injustification through Ekam. She was a good person before turining negative. Nehmat's sacrificial behaviour and Ekam's hopeless behaviour pushed her to the edge from which Jasmine took advantage. That being said what she did to Aliya was wrong. She loved her for years and she was her jaan. What was her fault in adults' mistakes? Aliya became a victim turned murderer later due to Nehmat, Ekam and Harleen's conflicts. This is why she should also get the punishment like Aliya irrespective of what happened in the past. Thanks to Deepak, Aasma turned out to be a cultural and decent girl. It is not Harleen's upbringing but Deepak's values that shaped Aasma's character. She did not have any hand in bringing her up. She is literally taking someone's credits lol.

One more thing I want to ask. Did Armaan have an intimate moment with Aasma? Because when I watch the clip wjere Aasma confront witj Aliya and Armaan, she said something along the line of Armaan was not faithful(dunno the rigjt word for that hindi word) to Aliya either.

If you consider, inherited bloodlines - Aliya has no Sandhu blood - nehmat was adopted and a criminal's daughter.

Asamaa is a Sandhu related to Tejo by blood.

So what they are telling the audience is - Khoon toh apna rang dikhata hi hai!!! even if it skips a generation.
