Makers will most probably forget the part where Ekam didn't trust Nehmat. They will make it like for Ekam Nehmat made a mistake of trusting that man and she is suffering let's save her and then we can be together.

He is so concerned about his political career that he doesnt want Nehmat anywhere near Ekam so that his figure doesnt get ruined and not he is openly running around with his girlfriend.
