Tanya is not Tejo. Writers are quit clear and Pri is acting accordingly. Even in london track i never got Tejo vibes from Tanya. Not even in That so called emotional scene where she accepted she is Tejo to make him fight with those goons. Am really surprised how good Pri can diffrentiate. As Tanya even in close ups with Fateh she is not giving away Tejo vibe. As Tejo Pri gives whole different connect with Fateh her facial expressions are like real smitten once her emotions deep eatched.
In london track Tanya was never given the flashbacks of Tejo which means writers never planned her to be Tejo. Her dialogue delivery when she blamed jafa for her kids death were flat. It lacked depth and emotions of Tejo. Remeber Tejo's break down when she realised she was not pregnant was so real. Like she really wanted to have Fateh's kid and was so heartbroken. But in london track her break down was like crying without tears , expressions without emotions!
Maria had so rightly pointed even then . When Fateh had put his hand on her womb she was so uncomfortable and was like dude i am bearing you for my mission's sake! Even in Moga Tanya is showing no emotional connect with Fateh. It's more like get the work done and be gone. That's why i am finding Tanya boring. Coz she has no meaning in the whole story. She does not belong to UD land neither are writers trying to connect her , she is odd one out in the whole UD premise.
So what is her purpose ?
Only reson i can guess is what i saw today. Writers are using Tanya to give Tejo her rightful place for time being. Tanya so rightly said had she been Tejo she would have done the same. Sacrificed herself for family. Jasmin was always upto getting Fateh sooner or later. With Fatejo kid dying she got this idea of using kid to get back Fateh. Jasmin is using family weakness just like she did in Atrangi marraige. Even then Tejo could not stop her from marrying Fateh and Fatejo had their epic rona dhona. Same would happen now if Tanya were Tejo. But here writer have made a twist. Real Tejo will apear with mental instability and Jasmins plan will backfire. She is using kid and playing victim card to be Fateh's wife and has used Tanya to convince whole family and serve her Fateh in plate. But now Tejo will come back with super victim card and same family who are happily preparing for Jafa marraige will go back to humari Tejo and Jasmin will be left stumped.
Same Tanya who has made family to marry J with Fateh will bash both families for making Tejo mental. She will blame it on Virks for breaking Roka and Sandhus for forcing her into another marraige for their so called social reputation. She will make Fateh bang his head on wall for sleeping with her and leaving her pregnent to die in that fire. Jasmin's whole mere bache ka baap drama will dwindle infront of Tejo's wretched condition.
Tejo's comeback from death has been way too diluted with Amrik's death and J's mere bache ka baap act. It will be handled with full emotions after real Tejo comes back.
This is how Tanya's real pupose will be solved. She will serve Virks, Sandhus and so called grieving J and Fateh their Karma. The once who are claiming to be Tejo's well wishers will be tested. J will be left speechless and Fateh well he will laugh and cry , dance and then bang his head on wall when Tejo clueless of whole chaos will call Fateh mera Dulha, mera best friend. Look finally you came. I knew you will come.
And that will be the real irony for Fateh as well J Virks snd Sandhus 😎. Am waiting to see how they implement it. Coz i bet this is a big trp track. It will bring them in top five.
