Fateh was ashamed, but not because there was something or someone else in his mind...He's ashamed because of what he did afterwards, was truly horrible.

Ok just a clarification here he wasn't ashamed of the night. He was not happy because he felt he did wrong with his best friend and he cud c she has feelings for him which at that point he wasn't ready to reciprocate. Quoting FSV here...

At this point fateh Firstly had no closure with J. And secondly never realized the extent of his feelings for tejo. He never said he was ashamed. He regretted and felt guilty of betraying his best friend. Had he realized wat he felt he wud never have left her in the first place. He knows this. Pata hi nahi chala....tejo mera ishq hai... stupid bailbudhi took long enough to get over blind obsession. Ya in real people take much longer but show main kuch zyaada hi keech daala chewing gum.😔

The most embarrasing was when Tejo got dressed up in that sexy nighty and created that whole ambience for sex and he was unconfertable and slept with his arms folded round his chest. I mean Tejo just did not know she was down right rejected. I want this to happen with Fateh. Let him try and try and get rejected coz Tejo will remember all her embarrassements at same time. She was so hopeful after their consummation and he was thinking about avoiding her and not betraying Jasmine. She has slept so many nights beside him and Fateh had only Jasmine in his mind and heart. She kept thinking why they never did it again, was something wrong with her...💔 I just want Fateh to suffer more and go through all these emotions and nightmares she went through. He still has no idea what mental trauma she suffered cause of him.

Afterwards, yes. He regretted that, the moment he realised he is still affected by jasmine, and for him as a person, was something he did not expect from himself. Had they been left alone for couple of months, without J's interference, he'd have came around that he loves T. But afterwards, things just got more complicated and being an emotional mantoddler he wasn't capable to process everything. While ema was going on, yes he must have decided that it's just a 'weak moment'....But even here there are two things. First, EMA Fateh was barely FSV, he's more like a corrupted shadow. His behaviour was less like a functional adult, more like an addict. You do not expect an addict to make sound judgments. Second, in moments of clarity, which he refused to think about later, it's obvious that it meant something more. When Tejo told him it's a mistake, which he considered it to be, his face lost the color.

And once he came outta his haze, afterwards it just became obvious that he loved her even then. In all the moments spent with her, makers chose the ones where he's present with her for his FBs (waise kuch dream sequence wale bhi chep diye)

Kaand=jasmin Wo tho karke rahegi chudailon ki amma besharamo ki sardar ko chen kahan padega warna.And this time fateh got to fight for his ishq. Warna gaya sab uske haath se. Virk house main ab roz pange honge. Dekna hai amrik kya karega. Hopefully accident case jaldi nipta de. And fatejo itni asani se ek nahi honge. There has to be more convos and ofcourse confession.
