Hola forumwasis, so this has been an idea in my mind for a long time, and I'm finally writing it down.
So couple of things, it follows the show till JasFa marriage, and they actually get married.
Fateh is dark, there'll be violence and abuse so if that's a trigger for you, please avoid.
Fateh took a swig of dark amber colored liquid, barely feeling anything. Seriously how used to booze he'd become that even this was barely affecting him. Nothing affected him anymore really, but her. He could see how this was breaking her down, piece by piece, crushing her soul slowly, every time they looked at each other, he saw her eyes which gave him hope. For a better him. For a brighter future... But he knew in his heart it was too late. Today everything would be over, and she'll leave with Angad far away, from everything toxic. Angad had told him, they're leaving the next day for Shimla. With time, she'll heal. He knew this. Tejo was strong. Now he needed to breathe and finally do what he intended to.
It's a wedding ceremony, but it felt like a funeral. Jasmine and her group of friends seemed out of place, laughing,dancing and celebrating. Entire family was distraught, as they witnessed this wedding where the fire wasn't burning just wood, but love, respect, reputation of two families and most important, heart of a pure soul.
After a few hours, the ceremony ended. Everyone returned to their homes. Tejo had left with Angad. As she drove away, Fateh said goodbye to the last remaining light in him.
Fateh stared in the bathroom mirror, with a twisted smile on his face, and a drink in his hand.
"You and Jasmine ruined Tejo, now it's your turn sweethearts. Congratulations Fateh Singh Virk, I wish you a long, unloving, torturous union. May you always torture each other, and never be happy."
Jasmine couldn't stop jumping with happiness. She's finally Mrs. Fateh Singh Virk. Finally her life was perfect. A rich family, a loving husband who would do whatever she would say... everything was perfect.
When she reached her, their room she found it a bit odd that Fateh still had a drink in his hand...Ehh maybe he's just happy. She went and sat down on the bed, and gestured Fateh to shut the door. Finally, a night to remember...
Fateh smiled, got up and shut the doors, and carefully closed the curtains.
Then he walked upto Jasmine, and set down. He caressed the lock of hair falling down, and tucked it behind her ear. She shivered and closed her eyes. He held her face in one hand and lovingly traced something...
Then his grip changed. He held her face in his hand tightly, almost distorting it, and looked at the shape it formed curiously, as if he's trying to find the answer of an unknown mystery.
"Why? Why Jasmine...why are you so ugly...?"
Jasmine was shocked. For a moment she thought it was a joke, and she's about to shout at him, but the way his grip was getting stronger, she knew he must be possessed. Fateh would never do that.
Fateh, on the other hand still examined her contorted face, lips jutting out and wondered out loud.
"Is it the lips?" As he roughly wiped the lipstick from her lower lip.
Jasmine winced and a tear fell from her eye.
"No...seriously...what is it? Why are you so fat? Like look at this...just uhhh..." Fateh looked at her from head to toe and continued "What's the reason behind this? Tejo's blood...or did you ate her share of food too?" Fateh questioned her, with a childlike expression as if he was really asking an innocent question.
Jasmine's heart sank. She'd never been the one to stay quiet, but right now, she's too dumbfounded to do anything.
Suddenly there's a knock on the door. Mahi was standing there with a glass of milk.
Fateh smiled and asked Jasmine to open the door. She hesitated, not really knowing what to do, Fateh sighed and then went himself. He opened the door and asked Mahi to come inside.
"Come on Mahi yaar... I know you guys are upset but please see, how happy we are. Finally my love is fulfilled. Finally Jasmine is mine..." Fateh continued with a saccharine sweet smile which made Mahi sick to her core.She put the glass down and quickly walked out.
Fateh sipped the milk, "It's delicious."
He took the glass to her and offered her.
She was really hungry as she hasn't eaten anything fearing her makeup would be ruined. She gratefully took the glass and took a sip. He wasn't lying, it was good. She was about to take another sip when Fateh pushed the glass hard. The steel rim of the glass had cut her lip. Hot milk was all over on her expensive lehanga. She almost broke in dry sobs when Fateh looked at her, enamored by something.
He moved forward and touched the bruise which has formed gently. And then he pressed his finger on it, earning him a muffled scream. He sighed satisfactorily. His hand instantly went upto her throat and something much darker flashed in his eyes... "Not. A. Word. Ever." Every word was emphasized by increasing pressure from his hand.
"Now clean it up and yourself, and get my changing clothes. We're gonna play a game."
