My Version....

Tejo's indifference towards his existence is hurting him. That's why I always used to say this that Tejo's indifference is Fateh's biggest punishment cause he don't deserve any of her emotions not even her anger. He expected her to lash out at him every single time but she never did. Even during that gun encounter, she just expressed her disappointment and her pain due to betrayal hence he ran behind her.

When he came back to his house from Sandhu's even at that time he expected her to give it back to him the way she gave it to Jasso but she never did. He wanted her to react when he put that blame on her for having an affair hence he stopped Buzzo from speaking stating its between husband and wife cause he expected her to fight back with him, to prove his claim wrong, but she never did. Infact his expression was more of being hurt and disappointment when she stopped Papa Virk from slapping him again.

Even yesterday when he was clear that Tejo is there only for Beeji still he tried to instigate Tejo by stating that she is there to reclaim him cause he wanted her to react and she reacted but he got unexpected reaction... he never wanted her indifference and yesterday she exactly stated the same that he is nobody to her for her to fight for him.

When Fateh came to his room, he was Tejo is working on the laptop there was no need for him to knock on the door but he wanted her to acknowledge his existence cause of their previous conversation but she said nothing When the vase fell on his foot, he expected her to check on him but she just handed him his clothes and went back to her work.

He want that one to one conversation/confrontation with her but her indifference towards him is hurting him, his ego is bruised. Tejo is someone who is naturally affectionate person. She cares for her loved ones, Fateh has experienced that and he is not use to this version of Tejo. The one relation that he has truly earned in his life was his equation with Tejo, she had embraced him with all his faults and he knows that he is losing it to never get it back. I stated it earlier as well that Tejo is in his subconscious mind. She is present in his life even in her absence. It is very weirdly passionate what he feels for Tejo which cannot be defined in word but I still believe it is not love but something greater than love and once that blinded spectacle is off from his eyes he will run back to her and I want Tejo to forgive him but to always remain indifferent towards him.

He expects things from Tejo, he needs reaction,

That is why he said that he does not love Tejo in front of family, and again going to handover divorce paper in front of everyone.

He wants Tejo to react..!

And, I think Tejo also understands this, and she is exactly doing the opposite.

That is being indifferent towards him.
