The Anirudh in BB is beyond comparison to any ML in ITV despite his flaws. He has spoiled men for me now.

Main samjhti hu... I'll speak in regards to BB because I actually disliked the show's entire concept and never saw it. Until, I came across that episode where he teaches her good touch and bad touch then there were so many topics they touched upon like her menstruation, sex education, etc etc.

I stopped watching preleap after a certain point because I did not like the fact they pulled that child marriage aspect for so long. They were pretty much banking on the popularity factor, they should have ended it long ago and not introduced the crush factor into it so early.

But, still the show handled their relationship MUCH better in comparison to anything else I have seen on ITV or even all other shows I have seen in other languages.

If you watch the preleap and look at the overall growth of these two characters - Anirudh and Bondita. They are not completely white or black characters, they are wonderfully flawed, real and inspiring.

Anirudh is the first ITV ML that I have seen who is so pro women rights in every aspect 😆 Itna toh ITV FL nahi kiya hoga jitna yeh women rights ke liye lad leta hai.

He found in this child, the beacon of light to help eradicate the discrimination against women during those 1930s time period and he groomed her accordingly, he educated her and helped her every step of the way even though his family, the society and everyone mocked him, humiliated him and pretty much tried to kill him for trying to let a woman speak up.

He gave up his entire life to ensure this girl would survive and strive in that world where no woman was allowed to even speak up.

He is a character who driven by purpose - that was to return to India and eradicate the regressive and patriarchal mindset.

He found in Bondita, the one person who agreed and understood what was wrong in society. As time passed, she became more clear about what is wrong that is happening around her with women thus she promised to achieve his dream of getting educated in London and returning to fulfill their dreams of helping their country.

He broke their child marriage before she left to London once the child marriage abolishment act came in place.

Throughout the entire period of their marriage, he never considered her as a wife and he always encouraged her to not consider this as a marriage, he give her full freedom of choosing whatever she wished. It was just a cruel twist of fate that in that time and era, their marriage was considered normal for everyone including the child except for him.

He could never accept it but there was no law to eradicate it and he could not just abandond her either because she did consider him her husband plus she would be killed or worse sold off into flesh trade if she was left by her husband.

All the social issues aside, the characters themselves share a VERY unique relationship.

I have not seen one like this ever before because their relationship encompasses all shades and it did not make me uncomfortable at all because the actors plus the writers handled it very well, the transition when you link it to the history they share.

They are two people who want to change the world but are stuck in a regressive time period.

It was obvious for me that she would choose him eventually when she grew up because that man who saved her, protected her, educated her, made her understand right and wrong, gave up his entire life to make her independent and strong... he set the bar WAAAAAAAAY too high for any other man to compare. Infact, I have yet to find a fictional man who can compare. 😆

It is very delicate balance that the makers, writers and actors had to work with... honestly, after watching the entire show, I feel they have done brilliant job with it (excluding a few stuff in between that they tried to introduce due to the channel's interference).

Now if I compare this to BV, they were both children who had no idea nor were they ever asked for their opinion so as they grew up, they grew to be very different and they had no connection that tied them together. They both had no idea nor freewill to choose at all. Upar se wo ML tha hi itna ghatiya 🤢

She found the right partner much later on in her second husband who was a supportive and strong man.

You can ignore it. I just really love to dissect this show and its characters... pagla jaati hu main because aise ache leads aaj tak nahi dekhi in my 10+ years of ITV experience 🤪

Now coming to BB, Anirudh never saw Bondita in that light right..In romantic way..Yes..He did promise her..I can totally understand her crushing and loving him..But how about him??? From seeing her as a kid how he can develop romantic feelings??? The leap did help..

I honestly feel bad for Ankit. This is like a nightmare for his first ever ML role.

I cannot imagine him getting out of this pit with the way they have butchered it.

Usually yeh cheating husband wale roles na senior actors lete hai, who have a following and all, they manage to get away.

I hate him today 🤢 … he’s such a jerk. Does he realize what he’s doing or not? I seriously don’t understand someone like Fateh, how can he break Tejo’s heart, his so called best friend, someone he cared about immensely 😡 .. did he also forget he fcuking slept with her few days back?

Yuk. He has no self-respect .. how can any guy go back to a girl who treated him like shit, who so heartlessly walked out of mandap humiliating him and his family 🤢

Oh so ghullam came back🤣. Am happy now . He accepted his position right in feets of Jas.

So makers still have their mind intact. It means this ghullam is going to be trampled again. This time even Tejo will not be on his side

Seems 1st time a young hero is shown as a cheater in itv..Usually such things happens with hero’s younger brother..And heroine helping in exposing EMA and then whole family including wife abandoning..They are villains never hero!!!! For example: Namak Yug’s brother..He goes after Khanai..Tho he was hilarious as well!!! 😆

T doing accounts and kushveer ask y r u alone where is F. Amrik comes there and Kushveer says kaamchoron ki kami nahi ghar me come help tejo with accounts. Amrik sits to help. Asks T fateh veera kaha hai. T says don't know called he didn't pick must be busy. Amrik takes T phone calls F JF ibaadat me. F sees call J says don't pick. This is my time. F says she has called 5 times already.

T says to A rehne do na busy hoga kahi. And u can go as i know u have no interest in academy or talking to me. A Says veere doesn't like accounts but it my fav so u don't take tension.
