Tejo ek itv FL hai.. 😓

Mujhe ab Fateh ke redeem se zyada Jasmine aur tejo ka confrontation aur uska after confrontation scene dekhane hai..

Kya woh Jasmine ko easily forgive karege?

That would be fun only if Tejo is on fire during that moment. I feel otherwise that confrontation would be bland no matter what .

Sorry, saw the Tag quite late 😳

I agree with your narrative and Tejo's character analysis 100%

For me, Sargun and Tejo's character was the primary reason I started watching this serial. And I was actually enjoying Fatejo ever since they got married, but since last week, specially from Jasmine's drunk drama onwards, creatives have started butchering Tejo's character and soon she is going to be a Typical ITV Female lead, crying, sacrificing, forgiving family and husband multiple times, I'm kind of starting to loose my interest in this serial now 😒

Just giving a last shot and waiting for this 2 week wait as per Sargun's story, but if the twist and turn will be typical one, then I'm out of here.

saak is progressive sorry?? that has to be a joke there is no show more regressive than saak with all kind of sindoor shaadi crap and misogynistic ml

The male lead was misogynistic yes, but considering the environment we all are growing in, we all happen to be misogynistic to an extent. So give him a break dude! Anyone who has grown up in such an environment would feel such things are normal especially when they don't belong to the oppressed party. But what matters here is that he is open to change. How many male leads have that quality to admit that their thinking was wrong? I personally can't think of any. Also, the changes in his thoughts were shown as the show progressed. Doesn't that change count for something? And whenever he felt the heroine was right he has always supported her firmly regardless of whoever is on the opposite end. I can't think of any hero who has consistently show his support and trust towards the heroine either. I didn't like the sindhoor shaadi part either. However, the heroine had pointed it out as well. She has always called upon his bullshit in a sensible manner which I don't think any other heroine could ever do. Not even Sai from GHKKPM, she's too hot-tempered to invest time in explaining stuff to the male lead not that the male lead is worthy enough.

@pinkbold are you even serious? how about saath nibhana saathiya, or sasural simar ka 1 and 2 and kumkum kundali bhagya, the list is never ending.

My dear....just watch all those Zee Bhagyas and the other shows of Star. You will get plenty 😅

As for SAAKK, I understand the sindoor shaadi thing looks regressive. None of us really liked that. But that is not enough to call the entire plotline regressive.

In fact that show is one of the most progressive shows with great character development and tight plotline. Which is why it is shutting shop so soon!

More than half ITV shows has misogyny, patriarchal dominance and OTT drama. But very Few like SAAKK actually try to tackle it down and shows the ML evolving through that kind of a mindset to understand that he was the one who was wrong.

@pinkbold Exactly my thoughts.

@boldgreen I remember the recent name-changing track where even Anokhi fans called her selfish for not wanting to change a name. Their argument? Shaurya has always "sacrificed" for her till now so she should compromise for her name. Well, Shaurya hasn't sacrificed anything, he always "supported" her which is something that any life partner is supposed to do it. He's not doing her any favor over there. he's just being a sensible partner for her. Also, they missed the part where Shaurya is not losing anything when Anokhi changes her name, but for Anokhi she is going to lose her identity (in her opinion, which is completely subjective and understandable). And every time she has managed to explain to him the whys and hows of her decisions and put some light on her issues.

Another thing that stood out to me for name changing was not only the debate that was sparked due to the show but the constructive aspect of it which was seen in the way fans showcased their perspective. At least I didn't see any cuss words being thrown here and there just for the sake of differences in opinions. Everyone was just putting forth their perspective in a logical manner. That is surely rare when it comes to fandoms. Not to forget the fandom trended on Twitter the whole week for more than 1Milliion Tweets in and out of India, a rare thing to see especially when the channel claims to close the show for low TRPs.
