What's Amrik's problem

I know this has been debated plenty of times, but why tf is he obsessed with Chameli? And on what basis he said that fateh won't get any other woman like chammo? What's special about her? In fact she's way inferior compared to tejo. So honestly wtf is he smoking? And why can't he just deal with the fact that fateh is trying to move on. If my sibling was in a relationship with someone like chameli and then moved on to someone like tejo, I'd be thrilled. Waise toh virk family poori namoona hai but ye zarurat se zyada paglait nahin hai?

If he had the brains, the emotional stability he would not be in favour of that jasmin. Bande ke mooh se taunt ke alawa Tejo ke saamne toh kuch nikalta nahi hai. He knows Tejo has the wit and the smartness to put him in place and shut his mouth, even better the solid hand to give him a tight one across his face. Thankfully for him she is giving him the benefit of doubt to her devar.

He knows he can be his usual self, a dimb wit infront of Jasmin as she too does not hv the Brains to call his dumbness out. And for him she is poore pind ki beauty queen. I think it is all his pent up anger. Tejo had taken him for the guyswho sent Jasmine love letters. She shouted at him (publicly). Amrik took it to heart and since then hates Tejo. He tried to avenge her during the jaago for the public humiliation but his grandfather had saved Tejo. His obsession is less about pro Jasmine but more against Tejo 😒

Which I agree is excessive but I mean what else can you expect from a nikamma like him?
