Even before the leap, Udaan was doing well relative to its rival, only in the marriage track when YTG entered the top 20 was the gap big and Udaan regularly beat Mere Sai.

The difference now is that Udaan's overall rank and rank among Colors shows has slipped.

If 1.3 wasn't satisfactory, 0.9 definitely won't. The over-promoted mahasangam week is itself an indication that Colors wants Udaan and IMMJ to improve.

Leap was introduced because makers thought viewers were bored with the old story but the new one hasn't garnered interest.

Yeah rishta spin off opened well.

Immj is disaster in story wise.

I don't know what make actors feel to sign in that show now.

Shakti hit all time low.

I think SP not happy with Happy though rival shows not performing well in that slot.

There is lot of changes and leap in that show.

Atleast spin offs and second seasons for SP to look forward .

But Colors has nothing.

All the shows are under performing.

Colors now busy picking up shows for their upcoming channel.

I guess there will be a big revamp with channel and shows once IPL over.

Lot of shows may be going off air.

Yes, I think Colors will wait until after the IPL, but Udaan's early time slot may keep it on air for longer, Colors may decide to fix the more lucrative slots first, judging by Colors twitter account IMMJ and Roop are out of favor now.

I'm surprised they didn't go for a leap in Kesari, the kid's story is clearly not working.

Colors needs a revamp in management, it's clear the drama department has failed. I'm not sure the new channel will be a success after TRAI, it'll be difficult to make viewers pay for something without trying it in advance.

About Kesari, I saw few episodes since last week as it was our Paakhi and she is indeed doing well. her expressions are really good. She reminded me of Spandan. Wish she was the little anjor..

though not watching the show but watched Chahat she is really good and I saw the little imlu... Tashneen (grown up) but cute.

I think Meera has a chance if there is leap to play grown up lead in Kesari.

It's a 8.30 slot and first leap with Udaan worked for channel.

Just like they are trying to get Toral for playing Chakor like they did with Anandi.

That's possible but I would prefer if Meera doesn't do it, she needs to try a different role to avoid being typecast playing athletes. Also, I'm not sure the leap will be a success, IMO leaps have better chance of success if the original show was successful at least moderately but if the original show is struggling the leap has less chance of success and then there is the writing, I don't think it's good there, people on its forum were criticizing the recent tracks there.

Overall the leap is a failure

Colors as a channel is in trouble

There will be a major revamp for sure

Yeah,but a second chance with Colors is almost sure with many actors worked with them.

So Meera will have a chance for sure.

And VJ already done 2 shows with them.

Actually your right .

When I saw the epi i had the feel of choti chakor and chota SR, the attitude similar

But wish Meejay come in something of a different genre, not a stereo type.. As it will be like how the fans are saying about Tanya as in saath nibaya.
