your points make sense, even i feel channel never promoted the new pair as the new leads, only iwm mentioned and maybe toitv,

frankly speaking until chakor is there anjor can NOT be the lead, udaan has always been chakor journey, her story

this same trp like last week, surely shows what you said is true. its the same people who watch udaan out of habit. new viewers whether tuned in, we are yet to see , bcoz if so, there should had been a drastic increase.

from the comments i have been reading its clear that chakor has been shown in every episode post leap and old viewers would have tuned in to see what happened to chakor post leap.they are using chakor as the protagonist still, but its silly bec if they wanted the new pair to settle they showing chakor//meera will not work for them.

i dont know whether is good that chakor is back to action, bec we were hoping meera/chakor will exit soon, so we can let go off udaan completely

If it's Mahesh Pandey on board,the story would have moved too fast.

But here two weeks gone not much movement in story I guess .

And if this is the situation,then I think they replace Chakor with new actress.

As Meera already announced her quitting decision.

And in that case, she may be serving her 1 month notice period now.

Two weeks passed and 2 more to go for Meera to finish Udaan then.

0.9 to 1.1 trps are usual for this 7 pm slot.

Both tu Ashiqui and iwl had this level.

And Udaan able to do up to 1.3.

And after leap,the ratings stuck around 1.1 for more weeks

Then makers and Channel will be satisfied with it ??

If yes,there is no need for drastic changes and leap and bringing in new so called leads.

IMO actors don't bring viewers it's primarily the story, replacement is a different thing.

On TV Chakor is the lead and Colors is distancing itself from the leap but on SM they're promoting the new leads slightly more than Chakor, I guess they think the new leads will get more acceptance online.

I think the increase in number was because Colors is more competitive than Zee and SP after TRAI but the show hasn't regained the viewers they lost the last month nor improved its position amongst Colors shows.

As weeks pass we'll be able to judge the success of the leap and change of leads but right now the focus is on the mother-daughter feud and the ML is one dimensional.
