Suraj with naina in all those 7 years means naina stays in London along with Suraj.
I don't think that they will be together in those years.may be naina will be in touch with Suraj through phone calls and she may think to get married to him after he returns from London.

Mesh... 'A story can't run without having problems in leads' lives, it'll remain a constant struggle till the end.'
I get that. But they could've shown sukor seperating a different way. What they've shown kind of nullifies their long journey. Suraj seems to have forgotten everything. Showing sukor like this after all that they've been through together doesn't make sense. Was the foundation of their relationship this weak? Suraj shouldn't be shown behaving this way to Chakor. That's my complaint.

A wrong message is when you show a wrong behavior and support it.

About Suraj's behavior, he spoke in anger and he took a rash decision that he'll regret later. The makers aren't showing Suraj as being right they clearly said that he hurt Chakor. The wrong message would be if Chakor went back to him on her own.

Even Imli remaining unpunished isn't sending the wrong message, KN was punished when he was in his 50s, he oppressed people all his life, and what's the difference between having Ghumaan as a villain from having Gumli together? the same atrocities will be committed. As long as she'll get punished one day it's ok.

A story can't run without having problems in leads' lives, it'll remain a constant struggle till the end. It would be better if they found another issue other than bandhuagiri but they couldn't so it was either this or shutting the show down.

I m not saying the story should go on without any problems for leads... but the way the problems are portrayed is very important...if you think throwing your wife out of the house in such situation has no bad message, while the separation and whole plot could be done in a much better way, then it ok.

Naina being a part of the show post leap in every way is a huge let down.
Suraj sent Chakor out of his life. Couldn't he manage alone? Chakor was alone too. Did he really need Naina?

What role Naina has in Suraj's story? Was his relationship so week that he needed a shoulder after he himself separated his wife from him?

Be it in London or in India, be it phone calls or direct presence. Naina's character with Suraj is terrible.

It could've definitely been done in a better way but they want Chakor to get maximum sympathy. If Chakor left without Suraj dragging her out, then it would be wrong if she leaves Azaadganj without trying to reason with Suraj one more time, they needed Suraj to hurt her so much that no blame can fall on Chakor for leaving him.

What's wrong in having a friend?

Suraj didn't seek Naina's help, he may just accept it, if she calls him to ask how he is, why should he not answer her?

We don't know how dependent he will be on her, I don't think he will be dependent on her, she'll just keep hanging around helping him without him asking, just like when she was helping in serving tea. I think to him it'll be a shallow friendship nothing more. No one said he'll go to her to recover from his sorrows.

Naina being Suraj's friend isn't equivalent to Suraj being dependent on her.

I second that! That will also completely destroy Suraj. Not the Suraj I knew!

But for that why ruin sukor & Suraj? Is it fair to ruin sukor like this?? I don't think so. Suraj wronging Chakor at this stage of their relationship isn't ok. He wronged her during the baby 2 track too in a different way... but that was still an earlier stage of their journey.

If Naina was a man, not a woman, would you be angry with Suraj for having a supportive friend?
If he has no romantic feelings towards her, what's wrong in befriending a woman?
