After missing four episodes of Udaan I finally catched-up with everything... and it hurts.
Turning Imli in positive even if it was just for one day, one hour, one minute is something I can't accept. How can I. Turning KN in positive (something which would probably happen in typical serials) would be more acceptable for me. you know why? Coz everyone deserves chance for change. Even the most evil minds. With redemption of course and punishment. And it's just one chance. I*** had many chances. She messed up each and every. Not even to mention she didn't had redemption and punishment (unless they decide to surprise (read shock) fans and make Vivaans death as her redemption and punishment and keep her positive).
What hurts me the most is... I was probably one of the most excited people for mission track. And I really loved it. Each and every aspect, each and every episode. Enjoyed every single minute. To get what at the end? Biggest disapointment, bigger then my love for Sukor, bigger then my every fear. But, what to do now. It happened.
I can't care any less will they show Imli negative again and will they make Vivaans death reason for it. Because it won't change the fact that they actually showed her positive. Be it for a day or for couple of hours but they did it. They messed up one more character for her, and as much as I loved Vivaan and his bonding with Sukor in recent weeks I don't want him back in Udaan.
But they didn't only messed up with Vivaans character. They messed up with original concept of the show. Hard work of little Spandan, brilliance of Sai Ballal and amazing Meejay... it all starts to seem useless and wasted in my eyes.
Reason why and how they showed her positive is completely silly to me. That much that I went back in after 5 years leap episodes and watched almost all Hyar wild romance scenes just to see if am crazy. 18 December 2017 wild romance and explanation how they killed Vivaan.. that exspression on her face (one of basic, and limited exspressions she gives) could have mean only happiness. Not even evil happiness she couldn't convey it. It was just and only happiness. How can this women turn positive thanks to clearing that crazy misunderstanding she had with Vivaan? I know Udaan has new writters, but is whole team new, even production? No one could say, hey but we had that one episode where... how can we now...
After four years Udaan finally did it. They neglected Udaan's original concept. Maybe it was just for couple of episodes, maybe it was just for day or couple of hours of Udaan's time line, but thy did it. It's enough for me even if it was for just two seconds.
I so envy Namakaran fans. Their show went off air before it turned in huge joke. It was heartbreaking for them I know, they have made silly mistakes also coz off that, but still... I would now prefer that heartbreak instead of this one.
Maybe it was my mistake. I never loved Udaan just because of Sukor or just because of Meejay. I loved whole Udaan even when I hated what they did with Imli, even when they gave so much importance to this useless character... I still had reason(s) to love Udaan the way it is. But not anymore. They killed it in one go.
