Vivaan rides with the colonel while Chakor is running through the forest to reach there first. Suraj reaches the colonel's house, Naina jokes with him by pretending to point a gun to his head. She says her father can't hurt anyone, Suraj thinks of the burial scene and thinks that he wishes the colonel was good then there would be no need for the mission.
Naina goes to bring the cake, Suraj wants to open the colonel's room. Just as he does, Naina comes back, he explains that he found the door open and was closing it. She tries to feed him the cake but he doesn't want to. Chakor calls him and tells him to leave right away because the colonel is in Azaadganj. Suraj tells Naina he has to leave for important work, she gets disappointed.
Chakor and the agents clean the house before the colonel arrives but he comes before Suraj's fake mom. Chakor asks the second officer to act as one of the villagers and call out for Naina, this draws the colonel's attention and the officer explains that she's his daughter.
The fake mother arrives from the backdoor just as the colonel knocks on the door. Abhay calls Chakor, it turns out the woman wasn't briefed about Suraj (really!!!). The woman welcomes the colonel and mistakes Vivaan for Suraj.
The colonel confronts them, he asks her if he's her son and asks Vivaan if his name is Suraj or Vivaan, Vivaan is stuck. Suraj comes at the nick of time and explains that his mom has memory issues (more like dementia), the colonel accepts his explanation.
Back in the headquarters, Abhay gives Chakor a device to transfer the colonel's contact list during the wedding functions.
The colonel wants to hold the engagement the following day, Suraj is shocked, the colonel jokes if he wants to marry directly. Suraj says it's too soon, the colonel says he does everything quickly. He invites Vivaan, then he gets a phone call and leaves.
It's night in haveli, Chakor is standing on the terrace with tears in her eyes, Suraj comes and hold her hand. He tells her he knew it would be difficult for her. She says it's not about the engagement, she's sad they're deceiving Naina. Suraj says he feels sad for her too but they can't think of one girl, they have to think of the many other people. Chakor thanks him for what he said, she says that to stop the colonel, Naina has to sacrifice too.
