For me the main problems are:

-The lack of pace: uptil now the villains haven't started proper planning. At this stage the fight should've already started.

-Bad handling of maansik bandhua concept: repetitive long lectures were never going to convince anyone and drove some viewers away, they should've explained it by example.

-Long dialogues and scenes: the show feels static and boring, it used to have energy in the episodes but now it's lacking.

-Lack of balance between drama and fillers: half the episodes are just long Sukor scenes that add nothing to the plot, and we get one or two dramatic scenes per week, it should be the other way round.

-Bad execution of dramatic scene: the over the top mall scene, the end of kidnapping drama wasn't thrilling enough, Karan's illogical entry, even before leap, the end of Paakhi-Gauri's escape from haveli was unsatisfactory.

-Villains impact is achieved by their actions not threat of action, so instead of Imli following Sukor around, she should've made more plans to harm them or to sneak into haveli.

My recommendations:

-Chakor must start fighting back soon because whenever Chakor isn't fighting for her rights or justice, TRPs fall.

-Increase the pace, make scenes shorter and dialogues shorter and crisper.

-The show is action-romance and if you try to change the formula you'll drive more fans away than you'll ever attract.

- The show shouldn't share writers with other shows, especially the episodic writers.

-The director and writing team should figure out why the quality of the show has been dropping since Suraj got his memory back.

I agree with Krupy, I don't think it'll work because frankly all the anger will be directed at Imli. I probably am the only one who doesn't want her out of the show and think her axing will have negative impact, the personal enmity between her and Chakor is as strong as Chakor-KN and no other enmity can be stronger (unless makers are idiotic enough to kill Saanvi or Suraj). I don't think Imli's presence is the cause of TRP drop, it's only this week that they expanded her role, on the contrary, I think they should've used her better and made her plot more or shown her almost getting exposed. And I think she's less irritating now than as mantri, December-January were very successful and she had more ss and a bigger role then. To me Sukor repetitive romance caused more harm than Imli. This is a story, most scenes should be there to progress the story and fillers are just a breather but now we get fillers without a story.

Oh wow!!! Checked after some time and saw this post...Great ideas are floating around...
Can't we do something like this...Like a signature campaign.. Wherein matter is one...But really strong one...We have some good writers... And then everybody can endorse that one good strong mail...I personally feel that many mails should not
reach the cv's... May be they might get irritated or some wierd ideas may crop up in some mails...So one good mail but endorsed by many... Will it work

Liked reading everyone's views

They have become overconfident. Actually my worry is that they are capable of taking the most drastic twists rather than work on the basics. I am curious to know why they have slowed down so much. The show was never so slow. They always came up with weekly twists and they were having powerful scenes regularly.
I at times think Keith was right when he said that they are changing texture and feel of the show. ( not exact words) but fact is that it's backfiring big time.

From 2.4 we went to 2.0 and 1.7. It's obvious the episodes are not clicking

My fear is last year we bounced back in TRPs but then our PH had only 2 shows and this year they have 4 shows
Like Gul Khan I hope they don't neglect their old shows

Please everyone share ur views,u may agree or disagree😊

Neglecting Udaan will be a bad move for the ph and channel both

Ph other shows not doing that we'll, one may end next month

Channel line up isn't as impressive as compared to sp and zee I think. Udaan shakti Imm are trp gainers. Nagin will be a weekend one.

Ph channel both need to realise that the show still has the potential. Channel head even said they have great plans for the show when 1000 episodes happened. They need to correct the errors in good time.

A show like Udaan won't come on board again and again. It's a rare show with so many out of box angles which have clicked at a competitive time slot. They need to be proud of the show

I don't know why i am getting so emotional

Shreeti about target audience if we first gather reasons on sn and here on forum that will mean lot more people contributed to this, even the ones who would never send that mail from this or that reason. Atleast I think so.
I absolute agree we should do something and we should do it urgently. I have hope that regular viewers won't write also. But Shreeti, I'm someone who stayed behind all as regular viewer and for one long period I followed almost every fan page . The things I read used to scare me, hurt my Meejay even Sukor fan feelings , and in slightest case I get headache. I'm talking about that people, who are used to express their opinion no matter what or where. Don't take me wrong, I don't know anything about any person who runs fan page in particular, the only thing that I as a fan could notice is they don't know/ don't like/don't want to express their opinion on sensitive way. Not blaming anyone it's human characteristic, we are all different and this is just one example of that difference. My fear are these people. They will write something which will make even writters and whole cast when hear about it having headache.

Would you all love to see Sukor real lip kiss? Forget previous question, would you really love to watch hot really bold romance between them? Do you think makers will think about it in first place ? Let me tell you if you don't know that the same production asked minor to do lip kiss in TA and after her refusing there were talkings about replacing fl, do we want same or similar atmosphere on sets of Udaan? Meejay are matured people and all, but there are always lines to where one is ready to go, and we don't know where Meera or VJ set that line. I know some people running popular fan pages will demand right this.

I know that you, Sumi, Niki, Ruby, Mesh, Bini, Rabia (missing her writings) can make amazing mails. But Shreeti don't be so sure about me. I remember and sometimes feel quilty for using some really harsh and bad words for makers and production. It happens when I'm to emotional and angry. As Ruby said I don't know why but I'm getting emotional. I know I won't bash and use these words coz right now I'm not angry, but I'm not confident that I won't make some big mistake lead by my emotions.

Also, we don't really know what makers can find disturbing or offensive or something that will put them under big pressure and how they work under it. Creative people, artist, and tbh making a show like Udaan I consider as an art itself, are sensitive personalities. We don't know maker's to know what our mails will provoke in them.

Two, three, four... ten heads will always think better then one. Two or ten hearts will always love more then just one. Thats why I thought the idea about making one mail is maybe better idea.

It's OK if you think we should send separate mails. Please someone post first mail soon so we can follow it when we write ours.

They sent her for promotions not Meera. That shows what she means to them. I personally want to save the show because of my emotional attachment to it. If that wasnt the there i would want the show to end or Meera to quit. That's how bad i feel for her.

yes you are right to many ideas can mess up further but we need to stress that they should not try and change the shows texture and flavour. Udaan worked because of the X factor. Right now it's looking like a regular show with to many family scenes. Chakor is missing from action. Audience not used to that. The story is missing and pace is weak. Dialogues are repeative at times and scenes tend to drag with no purpose.

Sorry for the long post

@ Bold - That's the number 1 change I'm seeing in the story post this leap. And personally, that's not working for me. I know I've been stressing too much on this... but for me udaan is synonymous with Chakor. Chakor isn't supposed to be a typical female lead. But they've turned her into one. I like mumma chakor... but they've completely domesticated the jangli billi. Being a mother is only one dimension of her. It would be better if they don't ignore her other dimensions. I'm glad they're doing a good job with Suraj these days tho.

Exactly Sandy. Chakor needs to get back to action. Her character needs to be given more to do in the show rather than just take care of sanvi suraj a day haveli. I am missing the pre leap chakor. The story post leap not clicking at all

Agreed that Chakor is missing from action but that's because there is no action at all. I'm confident she'll be back fighting Karan and Imli once problems start, the problem is it's taking too long. It's almost a month now and the track hasn't started in real. The dragging is the biggest reason for the drop.
Agree about that change in the show's flavor: now it's too laid back and the intensity is missing. I didn't like Keith's comment about the show being loud, the villains were (KN was sometimes loud and sometimes subtle but the rest were OTT) but the show itself wasn't , it was intense and showed passion but was never loud.

Today's episode had a higher intensity, although Imli-Karan scene was too long. Hope they keep the intensity high and cut down on fillers.
