I prefer if Suraj is obeying hyar because of blind loyalty and not because of fear. What I understood is that Suraj has no recollection of his past except his childhood dreams, so I don't think he knows his mother is alive or he would've tried to talk to her and learn about his past.

Rabia that will do more damage to his character. He stripping chakor, sellling girls and transporting organs for his mother will make him look even more low.

But yes it seems the lady is tejaswani and new suraj wont know her
