But Ruby,I guess you are mistaken...

as far as I remember,that particular scene was very much appreciated in all spheres,it was helmed as "path breaking" and "serotypes breaking" scene...it was very much applauded and appreciated by the viewers.

each local as well as national Indian glamour newspapers mentioned it,and rating were very much boosted

But Sooraj was also villain and he flirts with Chakor a lot and there are scenes after swap marriage, he talking badly to Chakor but it's never looked vulgar but only make you angry at Sooraj, those who are disliking him that time.

That is the difference,here RV is unbearable and cheap.

Rabia after the scene aired the trps dropped for few weeks and only the few year leap had got .the rating back up. I dont rem the praise the scene got. Have you seen it?

Exactly i was angry at suraj too but he was never vulgar. He had a standard and vj acting was terrific.

Vb looks out of place

I don't think the power balance between hyar is as tilted as it seems to be. I think they're equal partners with Imli as the front. RV was the one who took the initiative initially, he hit Suraj and killed Vivaan. There is a difference between their interaction in front of others and privately. in public she's in charge but privately, she consults him and he can make decisions on his own like the deal that led to the medical camp. I think RV is a joke because of VB's interpretation of the character more than the actual script.

If CVs are trying to show the contrast between Suraj and Chakor v/s Imli and RV they don't need to resort to those lustful bedroom scenes to do so. The contrast between both pairings could not be more evident, there are two who are driven by control and power and another two who fight for what's right. It is as simple as that. CVs need to tone down the bedroom lust.

That's a clear cut difference between the actors...

There is a very,very fine line between sensuality and erotica...

and between appearing vulgar and appearing seductive.

about Suraj flirting with Chakor,earlier before or after their marriage,it was simply VJ who did it in a way,that never for a second,it looked vulgar,(actually I know many girls,who in actually started drooling on him,coz of his attitude and flirt)😉

They want to make RV appear as extremely disgusting and cheap,in hindi it's called "ghinauna",that's why they are making him like this...

I am sure,if VB would have been done a good work with this,and didn't over acted,the scenes wouldn't have given us such a nauseating feeling 😛

"t2" the supplement with "The Telegraph" and "Calcutta Times",the supplement with "The times of India",these two newspapers that come to my house,were raving about the scene,way too much,even shows like SBS and all,had publicised it to the fullest,whatever the scene was,but many did tuned in to watch it as it was the first of its sorts on Indian televisions.

people shared their reviews via mails on TV channels,and newspapers,that it was commendable,there were 70% positive reviews while 30% negative reviews.

The channel had shifted the particular episode to air after 11 pm,but still viewers watched it and even criticised the channel for this step saying it that these kind of steps of channels won't let Indian tv prosper ever.

and I haven't watched it ever,all hat I said,I got it from newspapers 😊
