July 2016Police announce that Kamal Nayaran has died. Imli Vivaan decide to get divorced while Chakor decides to divorce Suraj. Suraj blackmails Chakor by telling her that he will get imli arrested in Kamal Nayarans murder case. Chakor to protect Imli announces that she wont divorce Suraj because she loves him. Bhuvan Kasturi break ties with Chakor. Suraj continues to torture Chakor while Vivaan decides to go to America after divorcing Imli. Chakor to stop Vivaan tells all that imli is pregnant with Surajs child. Chakor wants to convince Vivaan to accept imlis baby so she puts up an act that she wants imli to abort the child. Suraj gets disturbed. Vivaan stops imli from going through the abortion and accepts the baby
Suraj forcefully takes Chakor to lucknow for a function. Ranjana Imli join hands to break Imli Vivaan but fail. In lucknow suraj gets insulted by media so he makes chakor to lie in a haveli function that suraj is a good man and she is happily married.

Chakor records Surajs conversation with his friends where he claims to have done the bride swap to take revenge on Chakor. Chakor shows the recording to Vivaan and Imli. Imli breaks all ties with Suraj. A drunken Suraj tries to rape Chakor on teej but stops when he sees imli face in Chakor. Later Suraj makes Imli Vivaan believe that Chakor wants to stay with Suraj. Imli Vivaan start bonding. Suraj wants Chakor to use her position and make money for him. Ragini re enters haveli as a negative character who wants to destroy everyone. Suraj starts showing care for Imli and his unborn while Chakor is upset that Vivaan is going away from.her
Suraj makes bhuvan Kasturi and villagers go against Chakor. Suraj Chakor start doubting Ragini and its revealed to the audience that Kamal Nayaran is alive and in jail. Ragini and Kamal Nayaran are plotting against Chakor and villagers secretly. Ragini is not Surajs biological sister and thats why Tejaswani always hated her. Vivaan Ragini set up factory in the village. Suraj confesses to Chakor that he loves Imli. Ranjana blame Chakor for burning the cradle which Vivaan made for Imlis unborn. Imli goes against Chakor

Suraj confesses his love to Imli. Suraj reveals that Chakor was innocent. Vivaan beats Suraj up but Chakor protects Suraj. Imli apologises to Chakor while Vivaan feels sad for Chakor. Chakor turns soft towards Suraj while Suraj apologises to Chakor. Imli has a miscarriage. Ragini gets Kamal Nayaran freed from jail and burns all evidence against him. Its revealed that Ranjana is Raginis helper.
Vivaan realises that he loves Imli. Suraj reveals to Chakor that Vivaan and Imli love each other. Chakor is shattered but accepts the truth. Suraj consoles Chakor.
Imli Vivaan confess their love and consummate their marriage.Suraj dances with girls which annoys her and she decides to divorce Suraj

Suraj and Chakor wants to divorce each other and in a party he humilates her by saying that she is not a good wife. Imli gets jealous when Vivaan consoles Chakor. Tejaswani requests Chakor to help bring her son on the right path. Chakor challenges Suraj that she wont let him drink. Suraj at the last moment refuses to drink himself and tells Chakor that she lost the bet. Suraj takes Chakor back to her parents house. At the Navartri function, Imli our of jealousy makes Chakor fall. Suraj gives Chakor divorce papers and she signs them. Suraj Chakor Imli and Vivaan are kidnapped. They are shocked to discover that Kamal Nayaran is alive. Tejaswani is shocked when she sees Kamal Nayaran enter the haveli. Ragini beats Ranjana with a hunter. Villagers are shocked to discover that Kamal Nayaran is alive and Ragini cheated them all the way. Suraj Imli fake loyalty to Kamal Nayaran to trap him. Chakor and Vivaan support them in their plan. Suraj Chakor slowly develop their bond. Chakor faints in Surajs arms on Karva Chaut and he makes her drink water. Chakor Vivaan unable to find proof against Kamal Nayaran. Ragini offers Vivaan to work for them but he refuses. Kamal Nayaran plans to kill Suraj on Diwali. Chakor discovers about their plan to kill Suraj she saves him in the party. Chakor gets media their and protects Suraj by saying that someone wants to kill her husband. Kamal Nayaran gets angry at Chakor for ruining his plan. Chakor enters haveli again with Suraj. Suraj puts mangalsutra on Chakor.

Kamal Nayaran and Ragini want Suraj and Chakor divorced but are unable to submit the papers in court because Imli burns them. After Ragini slaps Suraj, he decides to kill her and Kamal Nayaran. Chakor stops Suraj from killing them. Ragini on bhai dooj gets Tejaswani to sign divorce papers and throws her out of the haveli. Chakor convinces Suraj that this is important to save Tejaswanis life. Girja takes Tejaswani to her house but later on cant keep her there because of Kamal Nayaran threats. Chakor refuses Kamal Nayaran proposal of divorcing Suraj to save her own life as well as Imli and Vivaans. Vivaan gets a job in his friends office. Kasturi eventually lets Tejaswani stay in her house. Suraj and Chakor are happy seeing this gesture of Kasturi. Kamal Nayaran tells villagers to make Chakor divorce Suraj so he will free all of them. Chakor tries to convince villagers that she cant do that. Suraj and Chakor get into a fight where Suraj tells her to leave because he does not want to live on anyones pity. Later infront of the villagers Chakor uses a reverse approach with Suraj which leads to him telling Chakor not to divorce him and he doesnt want to die. Ranjana calls media to make a documentary on Suraj and Chakor. She thinks that way all will know that Suraj and Chakor dont have a proper marriage. Suraj and Chakor manage to convince media during the shoot while Ranjanas plan failed. Suraj and Chakor get kidnapped by Yogesh bhais goons Yogesh bhai wants to marry Imli because Suraj had lost her to him in a gamble in the past. Yogesh bhai assumes Chakor is Imli. He forcefully tries to marry Chakor but Suraj stops him by saying she is his wife
To prove they are married Suraj tries to kiss Chakor. Police comes and arrests the goons. Chakor injuries Ragini. Suraj and Chakor get to jailor yadav and take him to a godown. Kamal Nayaran does puja and tells Ranjana that he wants to make Suraj his bandhua. Chakor leaves Suraj with jailor yadav and goes to search for some proof. Jailor yadav aims gun at Suraj.
