Ruby I didn't mean Paakhi had that gun to protect the villagers. What I meant was the environment in the village has become very negative so concerned for her own and families safety amongst all this so decided to keep that gun for protection

Before the leap Imli was acting to be all good in front of Suraj, the villagers and everyone so that's why she wanted Paakhi to keep her mouth shut, thus threatened to harm her family. Now she no longer has any fear from Paakhi as her real face is out so she doesn't need to harm her.
