I'm relieved Imli has a husband but RV is too old for her and she's too uneducated for him. She was far below Vivaan too but at least Vivaan was infatuated with her so ignored her inadequacies.

I wonder when they got married, before or after she got elected?

I don't think it's a fake marriage. Vivaan is probably dead. I know Vivaan doesn't deserve to die, but CVs will do whatever they want to suit their plot.

If they want Vivaan to come back, they could show that she took his share in haveli in exchange of freeing him.
