The Dev Deepavali ("the Diwali of the Gods" or "Festival of Lights of the Gods") is the festival of Kartik Poornima celebrated in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. It falls on the full moon of the Hindu month of Kartika (November - December) and takes place fifteen days after Diwali. The steps of all the ghats on the riverfront of the Ganges River, from Ravidas Ghat at the southern end to Rajghat, are lit with more than a million earthen lamps (diyas) in honour of Ganga, the Ganges, and its presiding goddess. The gods are believed to descend to Earth to bathe in the Ganges on this day.The festival is also observed as Tripura Purnima Snan.

On the whole I am content with Benaras track coz

1.It's related to Udaan's main theme

2.All the new characters and actors in this track are good be it Pandit ji and his wife,Divya,Preeti,Kavya,Malini ji,Ranvijay

3.Chakor-Ranvijay alliance stopped with engagement itself unlike taking it till Shaadi mandap in many serials

4.Makers did good research and chose Dev Diwali occasion as the climax of this track ending Ranvijay's evilness

5.And last but not least Chakor's wardrobe is good😆

Thanks for the Dev Diwali info Amrutha!
I liked the track. In addition to the reasons you listed, it was well written and it was a fresh track that gave us some respite from Azaadganj drama.

Yes,it was well written track after they struggling with lot of mini tracks.
Sukor love really blossomed in the track and the pain they both had go through was well portrayed and some of their dream sequences were different and good too.
And the reunion sequence was the best of all and it makes show back to top 5 after long time.
And now they are ending the track with good power packed episodes.

But the marriage twist and elaborate arrangement for engagement was unnecessary for me,if Sukor able to expose RV in that function then it all would have make sense.
And RV antics was unbearable towards the end and I feel go overboard with him slapping his mother and few torture scenes.
But overall in CVS perspective, it was good with proper climax.

Thanks for the information amru

I agree with all your listed points

I loved how sukor povs were potrayed.

The track was refreshing and so were the new characters

Meejay performances were first rate like always

Vikas bhalla was fab as rv

We got promos after so long

The track had some exceptional highpoints with fantastic dialogues such as sukor re union at karva chaut

Trps improved with show back in top 10

Hope the climax does justice to the track

Good info ammu 😃 Agree with all your points..5th point, bang on 😃
I never thought a character like RV will leave a mark on me..I can compare the impact of his role to Ishwar's..Prominent role, short and sweet..No doubt show marked its high points in TRP chart because of this track..This track gave a fresh feel..But RVs antics has gone overboard, SuKor putting an end to it on such auspicious day is a good move..😃

Don't know if the show retains its spot in TRP..Don't know if the next track would be as thrilling as this one..😕

Ammu-Pedia thanks so much for the information.

Great that CVs has indeed done a good homework and made good the mess they created during the durga pooja.
