I understand what you mean, that he hasn't considered the possibility that the baby is his, it may be because he still trusts Chakor's word, so if she says he isn't the father then he isn't. He needs to doubt Imli to question what she told him and although he is cautious with her now, he's more suspicious about what she said about Vivaan than what she said about Chakor.

He is taking baby steps towards imlis reality which is fine. I pray chakor does not confirm any of imlis lie. The montage is positive and they need to clear the mess slowly.
