Will Suraj be redeemed by CVs?

With the latest promo out, will the CVs start redeeming Suraj for the damage they've done or only further anger viewers? I seriously do not want to see Chakor apologizing or praising Suraj for his mahaan act because it was not one. While I have no hope with these CVs, this is what I want to see happen, Suraj needs to be the one apologizing to Chakor, Imli and Vivaan. Suraj needs to earn back Chakor's trust and love. This should not be an easy task for Suraj, you don't hurt people the way Suraj did and in the end be praised for it.

Mandy - whats there to redeem?

Whats admirable about what he's doing? He cannot even take imli to another location and house her there. His wife whom he supposedly loves asks Imli to leave. He is so weak that he cannot even find a place outside for imli. Is he a man? An aggresive male who can take care of himself and his wife is respect worthy. Suraj today is dependant on Vivaan for his food and housing. What is he taking care of Imli - he's subjecting her to Vivaan's daily taunts?

To have attitude and ego - one needs to be self reliant. Suraj is guilty of something - or is covering up something about Imli...if he cannot share either with his wife whom he loves...he's stupid. No redemption for stupidity. No right to the attitude he's showing.

This is why I do not want to see Chakor seeking his forgiveness. He completely destroyed Imli's character, he broke Chakor's trust and made his brother believe he slept with his wife. All of this for what? It just frustrates me to see the damage done to his character for no reason whatsoever. I have seen characters pull this mahaan act but at least there was some logic involved here Suraj has no reason to back up his stupidity.

he is doing it FOR chakor.

read it again... FOR Chakor. so what if Chakor herself tells Imli to get out of the room and her life.. he insists on doing things right by imli FOR Chakor.

and fulfilling his responsibilities by taking care of Imli and her unborn by giving them shelter, food and respect on his own merit.. wait what? sorry on Vivaan's the maalik's merit.

Right now CVs are trying to portray Suraj as Devta who is sacrificing his 'love' for his friend. I dont think CVs or Colors people have that much interest in his redemption. Suraj cant even realize the intensity of the blunder he made and he believes his act is right. His intention is good but his ignorance towards the gravity of this MU is torture to watch. The day he will realize his mistakes and what he did only destroyed several lives especially his wife's may be that day he will take his first step towards redemption. He is just being self-righteous moron as of now.

i just don't have enough eye rolls to give to this character named Suraj anymore. everytime i think this character can't go down anymore... he sinks to the challenges.

Earlier I was an on and off viewer. I have been following the show regularly from last few months. Cvs completely destroyed the ML in this track. Such lame track with equally frustrating scenes and dialogues. 🥱

and when i started watching this serial i thought this character would be epic. he is epic alright. epic disaster.

VJ is a brilliant actor. the man has been pulling one man army for so long propping up Suraj the character and adding layers and depths to it.

but this track is so disastrous that even VJ can't pull off a miracle here. only hardcore Suraj and VJ fans can make sense of him. haters, bashers, floaters, neutrals and the rest are wearing.. kya quitayapa hai expressions at him and his 'sacrifice'.

earlier we used to write thesis and essays trying to make sense of this character. then finally enlightenment dawned upon me.

if we have to pen down essays and thesis to give excuses, justifications and reasons for the actions (and lack of it) of the character either the character is too complex or the character is shoddily/nonsensically/horrendously written.

take a wild guess which category i will place Suraj in?

Given the way the CVs have stressed what Suraj did as a noble act, I highly doubt there is any hope for him realizing his mistakes. You nailed it calling him a self righteous moron, that is exactly how he is being portrayed right now! His attitude towards Chakor, Vivaan and the villagers proves that point.

Right? This show was going so well with the growth Suraj was showing and they destroyed it all for nothing. It is not like Suraj did Imli any favors, he destroyed her character in front of her loved ones so how can he say he helped her? He hurt the woman he claimed to love and Vivaan, he treats as the enemy when he calls his wife the mistress of another man. It is like you said he is being a self righteous moron and it is hopeless to believe CVs will undo the damage they did. I just dread Chakor, Vivaan, Imli or even the villagers for praising Suraj or apologizing for "misunderstanding" him. Suraj is not owed anything but a slap in the face for the pain he has caused everyone.

I don't think that the CV thinks that Suraj needs any redemption at all. He is perfectly fine form their point of view. He is just paying for what he did to Imli with the first pregnancy and they don't care that this is happening on behalf of Chakor's pain.
