It's kinda hard being a "Surajian" when I absolutely despise the "new and improved version" of him.

I had a ton of expectations from him, so far he has succeeded in none.

He made an impulsive decision to side with Imli ... now let him live with it! I'd love to see how long he can survive without Chakor though..😈

When a panther loses it's magnificence ... all we are left with is a cat! The once powerful Suraj Rajvanshi, has been reduced to a cat ... a STRAY ONE AT THAT! Ready to follow anyone that just walks by!

U know what they say about cracks on fine china?? You repair it maybe but it's never the same again..

BOLD: At the end of the book "Gone with the wind", Rhett says to Scarlett something similar... beautiful metaphor to describe broken dreams, broken relationships, broken hopes... fix them as much as you can... but after they have been turned to dust, even if you try to rise them again... after they have fallen so low, it's hard to bring them back to the same level they were, that innocence is gone. It fits Udaan perfectly.

I can't believe that there was a time when we used to compare Suraj with Rhett Butler thinking that he will develop for Chakor the same passion that Rhett had for Scarlett!

We thought the exact same thing, Nimmi, but we got it all wrong. He moves earth and skies, but for another girl, not our heroine. I came back wanted to see Suraj anguish for Chakor because of the break up. And what do I get? Suraj's anguish for Imli, with hugs and everything. I feel like I have been watching their love story all this time. It was always about how great they were as villains, how much they have hurt and loved each other, then about their baby, then how great friends they are and now about how much they can sacrifice for one another... beautiful melancholic love story... what passion... how much pain... pure selfless love.

and seriously there could be NO Sukor after this. SuKor is Suraj and Chakor. if you truly love Chakor you will never wish Suraj for him.
because for him Chakor is an option.
was and will never be first choice.

Chakor could be terribly flawed and may not be worthy of this new improved version of gem that Suraj is... but she doesn't deserve to be treated as second fiddle.

no girl deserves to be treated as option by the man she loves madly.
especially when it is her own sister and her husband's ex who is first choice for every damn one.

ofcourse Suraj is Rhett Butler to some extent .. loving a girl to the point of madness even if she treated him like shiz. we just read the sign wrongs. the girl was Imli😆.
the makers did promise a great love story. as you so beautifully described... melancholic, passionate, intense, selfless true love.
and they delivered it.

it is our mistake we thought it would be Suraj's love for Chakor.
why blame Suraj and makers for that if the blame lies in our perception. silly us.

i wish a happy and peaceful life to Suraj. may he walk the talk now and stand by Imli to the honest end.

Chakor is a strong girl. a survivor. she lived through the nightmare once. she can do it again. what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. she literally is the strongest character in the show. who dared to love the way love demands. Chakor maybe an idiot of a girl... but as Gigi said in 'He is just not that into you' (ironic) '

if and when the Imli bachua truth comes out and Suraj comes back to Chakor and claim that he truly loves only Chakor...

Chakor should pull a Rhett Butler and say..

"Frankly my dear.. I don't give a damn!"

and walk away.

Nimmi,Claudia, Shree, K Kapoor - you guys are amazing writers...Suraj sucks big time - but you guys still make me come to the forum - just to read your thoughts.

I still do think they are hoping that a reveal of Suraj never cared for Imli - it was always Chakor - first bachua was not his will set things right...but they have gone too far. Sukor is damaged and CVs have destroyed something that could have been beautiful. It never stood a chance - the cracks in china comparison was so apt.

Nimmi - I so wish Chakor would say...Frankly my dear...but with the UDaan CVs it's likely to be an apology for not trusting Suraj...It's time to dump this show...don't think its recovering...and Suraj's charm is gone...he looks like a wimpy stupid excuse for a ML.

you are a wonderful writer yourself. the only reason i hover around in this forum is to read the thoughts of my favorite girls and writers.

i have already dumped the show. there was only this bare minimum thinnest of thread tying me with this show.. Suraj's 'lie' and truth... and a faintest hope that he will choose Chakor and move heaven and hell to be with her.
now that thread is snapped too. and hope is razed.

i would rather see Chakor alone and successful now than see her with Suraj.

Nimmi - how do these creatives come up with nonsense like this? How do sane actors agree to act illogical tracks like this and justify it to the press. So Suraj out of love for Chakor - to prevent her from pain on account of Imli...decides to deliver the worst pain of all by putting her down in front of the villagers and disrespecting her trust in him. A 5 year old won't write nonsense like this. The constant references to Suraj by Imli and Imli by Suraj...the touching...who touches their sister in law this way. There are folks in this forum who actually believe because the baby is not his - its all right. I feel so abused by the makers of this show...I invested time in it and they are delivering absolute crap.

I recoil at those touches EVERY.SINGLE.TIME..WITHOUT FAIL..

Call me prude, old fashioned whatever..I have said it many times and saying it again..Somethings are just off limits..PERIOD.

How can you normalize this behaviour??
