I have never really understood Vivaan's love for both the ladies.
Incase of Chakor, it didn't even take him a second to doubt Chakor for the bride swap in spite of knowing both Suraj and Chakor so well.. Yes, she forced him into accepting Imli, but he did have the option to carry on with his London plans, but out of his immense love for Chakor, he decided to stay back and give father's name to Imli's baby.
If he really loved Chakor to this extent, why was it so easy for him to move on with Imli?
If he could move on so easily, was it really love for Chakor or mere infatuation?
And if he didn't love her, how can we hold Chakor guilty of snatching his love which never existed?
Even with Imli, I am not convinced of his love for her. The confrontation had taken place a day prior, it was the next day that he had dragged his wife to the basti and humiliated her publicly. It wasn't a sudden outburst at the basti. Yes he felt betrayed, but the public humiliation was uncalled for. He could have directly dropped her at her parents place in his car, but he decided to drag her along the basti creating a scene. Would a husband who loved his wife, treat her in this manner? Is she his wife, his love? or his private property? At times it feels as if, the only person he loves is he, himself.
Yes even I never liked the scene where she publicly announced Imli's pregnancy, claiming the baby to be Suraj's, that too without verifying. She was wrong then.
The difference between the two seems, then it was self-respect at stake, now along with self respect there's love, trust, understanding and the relationship itself which is at stake.
She was wrong in blindly believing and shielding Imli as well.
She was also wrong in falling in love without clearing her insecurities.
Yes, hope she learns her lessons.
Incase of Vivaan, maybe we can agree to disagree..
Rest all agreed..👍🏼
