i am sick of the current track hence watching Sukor old scenes from beginning. and Rishtey channel's Udaan now.
wanted to pen down some thoughts when saw some scenes. will be writing about those and will be updating as per the further episodes.😳.

forgot to add: I blame aradhana for tempting me to board rishtey ship😆.

the moment he saw her for the first time.

Chakor declaring herself a marathon runner 501 and a bandua and bringing down KN on live tv.

his nemesis from childhood is back.

he promises his father to bring their enemy to him. no need to send an army for a wisp of a girl. he has got a plan.

if only he had an iota of idea about the power the girl shall wield over him one day!

Suraj unleashes Chakor own sister Imli.. to bring the girl to him.
and starts a chain of reactions which heralds this story.

that of Suraj and Chakor.

and then Imli brings Chakor in for Suraj.
and unveils her in front of him.

his first look at his childhood nemesis.
and she glares at him with defiance.
and then he looks at her. and keep looking.
the way he looks at her.

love me and i will stay in your heart.
hate me and i will stay in your mind.

she stayed in his mind since his childhood. a scourge that he must purge.
a curse he must crush.
a bane he must destroy.
and she stayed way even when she went away .. far away from his life.

and now she is back.
and now she is here.

and now he is looking at her again.

and at that moment something just switched inside him. to till that moment all he had for her was hatred of corrosive kind.
and at that moment a new dark emotion made place in his mind. that of fierce attraction.
blood red version of dark fantasy.

the intimate way he leans towards her invading her private space to untie her bonds; the way he arches his brows and purses her lips in 'oh impressive' way looking at her; the way he talks with her...

she is back in his life.
and she is here to stay.
only this time.. he won't be sharing only one bond with her.
that of hatred.
this time.. they will be a dark bond of attraction too.

and then begins the saga of a shameless kameena flirt of a guy and a girl who thwarted his every move.

Suraj was a treat in that avatar. he was hilarious. kameena. bad ass and then some more.
and his most favourite mission in the world is ... to brush an errant lock of the girl's hair off her face.
and she always rendered his mission to mission impossible mode. even swatting his hands away.😆.
but he doesn't give up.. how could he? that's his favourite mission after all.

there are moments of hilarious aww worthy brazen flirting.
kya haseen raat hai.
chaand ki baraat hai.
ek waha aakash mein.
aur ek humhare saath hai.

and then there are moments when he was absolutely cruel.
be it gloating over her grandmother's death and the way she was murdered in the well... in front of her.
be it shooting at her aiming to kill.
be it steal her letter.
be it kidnapping aditya and humiliating her as ransom.

and then he goes and jives on madhubala dance on holi and colours her.
challenges her to shoot or kiss challenge. and even offers her to take her for flavoured lipstick shopping.😆.

a kameena flirt and a cruel nemesis rolled into one.

and she gives him back as good as she gets. and more.

and the man was left reeling struck between 'i hate her. let me kill her now' to 'ok! let me brush that lock off her face and maybe kiss her even' stage.

#random thoughts.

Our cvs are resident Chitragupt. (for the uninitiated he is the one who keeps record book of sin list of humans in hell. and they get punished accordingly).

Suraj did that. he must be punished this way for that sin.
Suraj did this. he must be punished that way for this sin.

Suraj acts beastly towards the villagers and smirks over Chakor's grandmom's death in a well...
let us make villagers toss him in the well.

Suraj humiliates Chakor in exchange of Aditya.
He will humiliate himself to protect her.

Suraj shot at Chakor.
He would rather starve than so much as slap her.

ekdum kaccha chitta khol kar baith gaye hai😆!
gin gin ke; chun chun ke badla lenge.

Swapping grooms;marriage; blackmail; imli; baccha.

NOT my favourite track at all.

the man was absolutely vicious here taking perverse pleasure in seeing her hurt. though he lets her hog the bed and takes the couch. won't touch her inappropriately. let her rule over his room.
but yes.. he was quite horrid to her in this track.

and then he tries to molest her.

and decides to fall in 'lub' with Imli.

and makes a general nuisance and menace of himself.

sigh!

we all have our theories and conjectures about imli, suraj and baccha equation so i see no point in adding mine. me thinks we all will prefer to stick to our own version of truth till cvs takes mercy on us and gives us a closure in the form of their version of truth.

but in this very track Chakor sees a new Suraj. one who could love. one who could hurt. one who could be selfless. one who holds a beautiful heart.
and she found a connect to the man.

he still had bond of hatred/attraction for her.
and she formed a bond of kindred spirit and sympathy with him.

#RandomThoughts.

In the beginning scenes Chakor used to speak in Imli, Kasturi dialect.
Humra.
Kabhao.
kacchu.

And Suraj used to call her ..Tu!

and slowly they soaked a little bit of each other traits.

She started speaking in his clearer dialect.
and he now calls her .. tum!

partnership eh!
tum mere rang .. and aur mein tumhare.

Rishtey episode:

Starting with Chakor burning Vivaan's memory in the shed and Suraj coming there.

Suraj says: good that you are burning your memories. i did same with imli. we both are haare huey khiladi now.

and then he says:
tum jise pyar karti thi woh tumhe nahi mila.
aur hum jise haasil karna chahate the woh humhe nahi mili.

aur Suraj Rajvanshi ko haara pasand nahi.

interesting choice of words.

Haasil and Haar.

If in future god-forbid he were to lose Chakor albeit temporarily 'Haasil' and 'Haar' won't be the words he would be using.

he did go berserk losing Imli to Vivaan and turned his life into a train wreck. but the moment Kamal narayan came back he pulled himself back together, found himself a goal, sorted his head out and was back to life.

and back to treating imli in a normal and casual way.

but he would never ever be normal or casual around Chakor if such time comes. his feelings for her are too deep to be anything but normal.

and when imli ran on bleeding feet to get water for him from machine he was like: oh could you run faster? i need water.
but if Chakor were to run on bleeding feet he would pop a nerve.

what he felt for Imli won't come closer to the vicinity of an iota of what he feels for Chakor.

for all his intense love dialogues .. it all boils down 'Haasil' and 'Haar'.

Rishtey episode:

The man gets drunk, brings in girls, dances away to glory.. in short.. living an aiyyash life all over again.
and Chakor says: Shee! how could you bring daaru and girls to home?

he says:
bade gharon mein aisa hi hota hai. tum chote ghar se hona! by the way; when are you going back to your chota ghar?

Chitragupt Cvs: chalo isko tabale mein phekte hai😆.

he shuts down 501 factory.
she says: how could you? people will be unemployed!

Chitragupt Cvs: iska paani band kardo. and make him slog to earn his food.

Serious note:

his answer to her why closing 501 factory?
I don't want anything to connect me to you.

he has given up on imli and the paraphernalia he associated with life.
Chakor is his only connect to humanity and relationships. hence he keeps lashing out at her; tearing her away from himself and tearing the girl down in the process.
piss poor excuse of treating the girl the way he did.. but still excuse nonetheless.

Random note:

When she sees imli going to Suraj to give him prasad; chakor requests him to thik karo his huliya lest imli gets hurt. he being well himself refuses pointblank. imli who?

and she drags him and slams him against the cupboard, covers his mouth with her palm and hides him and herself away from imli.

the man is strong enough to push her back and walk off. he doesn't. he plays along.
for he is so attuned to her that he knows if she is doing this.. she has her reasons.

even in the state of utter hatred for her.. he is perfectly in sync with her.

Rishtey episode:

Suraj humiliating Chakor in the party and declaring her a buri biwi.

i loathed the scene then. i ff'ed the scene now.

but one thing stood out.

that poisonous buri biwi rant of his made his heartfelt, heartbreaking 'hum sach mein bohot buri pati hai. haina!' all the more poignant.

the expressions of self loathing, vulnerability and genuine hurt... touching💔.
