Imo the divorce had to happen anyway. Suraj tricked chakor into the marriage, while she was thinking of vivian as her dulha. As a chakor and Sukor fan I believe the marriage was not real and had to go.

Now if they marry it will be out of love and consent. The way a marriage should be

During Ishq ka safar, Sukor actually got married again..If they are divorced for their swapped shadi..That marriage holds validity na..

Why don't these CVs remember it anymore

That sequence in ishq ka safar was not actually a marriage but some pooja with them holding idols.

According to the villagers,Lord Rama and Goddess Sita had married the same day,that is why they were celebrating it,as Sukor had avoided the idols from falling,the villagers said them to perform the rituals and marry along with the idols of Rama and Sita,and in the process they got the special boon for staying together for saat janam

It was a proper marriage🤓
