Suraj redeemable in Udaanland?

Only way a character become irredeemable in a soap is if he/she kills someone in cold-blood. The Intended victim MUST die. Accidental victims do not count and neither do failed attempts. Torturing someone does not count.

Has Suraj killed anyone in cold-blood like Ragini did?

Only TellySoapLand logic applies. Please do not bring the real world into this.

I have seen many shows where cold-blooded murderers too have been redeemed. Monish Behl in Devi...He threw his wife from the cliff (Sakshi Tanwar) and she DIED. Then regretted about it and became a saint 😆

I've seen Ekta's shows too where vamps were redeemed after killing their victims.

Everything is possible...Even rapists can be redeemed.

@Roni - I know everything is possible.

My POV is that Suraj's redemption has already started with the entry of "killer" ragini and the return of KN. He has been mellow recently. Only person he seems to screaming at is Chakor.

As for the "rapist" part -- I am not sure CVs understand or care about the issue overall. Marital rape is not even on their radar. That redemption is probably the quickest for them - like they have made it a non-issue here 🤢. Chakor has not even had a flashback of the incidence even once. 🤢

Suraj is already in the process of being redeemed. With regards to the rape, they added it only to show Suraj's love for Imli (this is what I've judged from the episode) as it was the first time Suraj remembered Imli else the scene has no meaning for the CVs.

Chakor seems to not bother about that day as it seems to be normal for her. Rape, murder, torture...Now nothing matters. All that matters is Imli and her baby wherein it the act happened with consent.

With regards to KN: He definitely will only hate Chakor as she's the lead. He will not fetch revenge from the others but plan to kill only Chakor. If he concentrates on others, that would be a LOGICAL thing to do and CVs are making sure this term is not applied in the show.

Depends on how serious they are about Suraj's character. Right now, he seems to be all over the place. Making bandhuas, falling for Imli..🤢

He has accepted his child though..it's a start. That rape attempt was one thing that went over-board. Not sure what they achieved by showing that other than ratings.

I am not eligible to comment on this bcoz I hvnt wtched but in tellysoap they can bring any twist they want and redeem a character. So of course Suraj is very much redeemable!! 😆 Marital rape as everyone said is very much a non-issue here, how much ever we think otherwise!

Suraj is reflecting the CVs confusion. On one end - they want him to end up with Imli but TRPs are showing that sukor is becoming quite a hit.

Even the promo is geared towards the TRP audience and Suraj's redemption. What is puzzling me more Imli's character -- Is she acting to make Suraj jealous OR has she really moved on? If she has moved on, will she move back with the same speed?

Killers always go jail before they are fully redeemed. The sequence is remorse, confession, lots of drama, more remorse, a public exposure drama, more remorse, jail and a leap. 😆😆

Since Suraj is not a cold-blooded killer as yet, he can be redeemed without the jail and a leap. 😆

@Bold: Loved that sentence. She has moved on at jet speed! I guess they will eventually turn her to be evil as well? She is already grey. Did they show why she met KN in jail and why she threatened him with a gun?

Right now - they do not need negative Imli. I am sure she will turn negative eventually. Everybody except the FL gets a turn at playing the negative character in a show. She has light color eyes - a hallmark of negative characters on TV.

I like Imli though - so much more real of a character than either Chakor or Vivaan.
