In my world, it makes her extremely selfish, on par with Suraj, that she is will to destroy Vivaan's life for her sister and to some extent even Imli's by forcing her in an unwanted relationship. Don't care about imli though - deserves a lot, lot worse.

I agree with what you are saying in terms of stopping regressive/superstitious TV shows and their impact on the society. Unfortunately - that is all there is on TV.

Surprising thing is that all shows have more or less the same outline after 6-months of airing - Udaan took 2 years to get there. We even talk in terms of "tracks" marriage track, divorce track, misunderstanding track etc. etc. The sequence of the tracks may different, but all shows include these standard tracks. AND yet we watch😕

Most disappointing thing is educated girls and boys supporting such stuff. As soon as a man and woman are shown only thing they want is pair them up, even if the male lead is a moron, Don't know where we are going. Earlier we gad strong and good serials like buniyaad, Tara, banegi apni baat, astitva. But now the serials have become too regressive and the reason is because of us, as long as we support such stuff there will be no improvement Instead of bombarding channels if the favorite leads ate not paired, or have been replaced it would be good to ask them to stop showing regressive stuff
