Since everyone is talking about Suraj's feelings for Imli's, I watched again those scenes which brought the confusion regarding Suraj and Imli and now I see the things differently and I thought to share it you too.
First, the mehendi ceremony. Imli and Chakor both came down and everyone was admiring them and we got Suraj looking totally lost in the girl's beauty and we assumed that the girl is Imli. But Imli and Chakor were sitting close to each other and he was definitely not looking at Imli. When the man who was sitting next to Suraj said "Look how beautiful Imli is!", he didn't even blink, like he didn't even hear what he said and kept looking admiringly in Imli's direction who was sitting next to Chakor.
Later on, Vivaan comes and tells him "Look at Imli, how beautiful she is, you should find a husband for her". And then Suraj looks directly at Imli and this time he has his usual blank face, no admiration, the lost look was gone, he looked at her like casually. Nothing more there. So, for sure he wasn't checking on her earlier. The camera's angles made us confused intentionally.
Then, when he was shot for Imli. Sailuja mentioned this before and now I also believe that he didn't step in to save Imli, but to save Chakor. Right before the shot, the camera is focusing on the bullet and Chakor only. Everything is slow motion. If Suraj didn't came in, Chakor would have been the one to get hurt and not Imli.
Also when Chakor is questioning him on why he came to her house that evening, he gets really irritated when she says that he came for Imli. And he tells her to stop assuming about his feelings or something among those line. And he gives her that look "If you really knew the truth..."
And there are other situations which indicates Suraj's feeling for Chakor, I will write them down when I will have more free time.
What I can't figure it out is how much he is aware of those feelings, but something is there for sure. I have no more doubts.
Add to these the fact that ever since he got married he acts like a teenage boy who can't help himself of showing his enthusiasm for getting what he wants. He is constantly around her and talks more that he usually does, sometimes he makes a full of himself by trying over the top to tease her.
I know that some people will find it wired to admit that Suraj may have feelings for Chakor and more that he is actually ready to save her every time she needs it. That's because sometimes he treats her so bad. And no excuse to that but he is who he is and he surly doesn't know how to treat girls or talk to them, his parents never bother to teach him. I remember that once he asked Imli what girls like and what they don't.
