nspite of the treatment SAB channel meted out to the cast and crew of Twinkle Beauty Parlour, (they were out of jobs without any prior notice), no one believed that any of these actors would work with channel again.

Maninee Mishra has decided to let bygones be bygones and will be taking over as host for Wah Wah earlier hosted by Tanaaz Lal who quit it for Nach Baliye 2. So how did Manini agree to work with the channel again considering they violated the code of professional conduct? Maninee says, "It's a small world. I know people would have thought that I would never work with the channel again. When I was being considered to host the show, the channel approached me. I agree that my past experience was not pleasant. But what has happened has happened. I will not hold a grudge against anyone. I want to move on. Moreover, I was not the only one to be ousted from the show. And neither was it a personal action. But this time I have become more cautious and demanded to see the contract and add a few clauses of my own. Currently, I am reading and re-reading my contract!"

Further, it was the love for literature that made Maninee do this show. "I feel a strong connection with literature. My mother Kanta Deb is a renowned writer in North India. She has 13 novels to her credit and has also won the Sahitya Kala Award for translations. I too have done my Masters in English literature. This show interested me because I wouldn't have to follow a script and I like being impromptu. Plus, I like hosting. I had begun my television career with hosting Mansi on Zee TV. It was a very popular show then (in the 90's). Hosting this show will help me keep abreast of what is happening in the poetry circle. But I know its not that easy because it requires knowledge in that field."
