According to the tabloids reports, makers of the Twilight series hired director David Slade, known for making horror flicks, to pump up the action quotient in the third installment of 'Eclipse', but much to Twi-fans' delight the film still revolves around love-triangle.
"Really the love triangle is at its hottest, at its peak in 'Eclipse,'" revealed Lori Joffs, 36, who have created the site TwilightLexicon.com for Twilight's fans.
When news of David Slade being hired to direct 'Eclipse' was released, Twilight fans were concerned that unlike previous two installments this one might turn out to be dark and bloody with little or no love in the background.
"He understands that the love triangle is what keeps fans coming back for more," added Joffs.
'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' was premiered on Thursday in Los Angeles among much fanfare. 'Eclipse' will be hitting theatres across US on June 30 and features Robert Pattison, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart as the main lead.
Tough decision ahead of Bella in 'Eclipse'
In the third installment 'Eclipse', rivals werewolf Jacob Black (Taylor) and vampire Edward Cullen (Robert) will be seen joining hands to save the woman they love—Bella Swan (Kristen).
Bella is being hunted by newly minted vampires, and Jacob and Edward must do something.
In 'Eclipse', Bella will also be forced to face her dilemma of who to pick her friend Jacob, who now is in love with her, or Edward, who she's in love with.
Recently, Taylor revealed in an interview that his character Jacob will be seen getting frustrated in 'Eclipse' because "gets told 'no' over and over again."
Robert would love to be like Edward's character in real life too
Robert Pattison recently said in an interview that if given a choice in real life, he would be like his character Edward in Twilight and not be like Jacob, who ended up starting a love-triangle.
"I would never be in Jacob's position, because then you just end up being the guy who broke up a couple," added Pattison.
