OMG! Good news guys! Taylor Lautner is officially playing Jacob in New Moon!!! Summit Entertainment is not replacing Taylor! I am sooooo happy!!! This news has made my day!😃😃😃 No one can be better than Taylor as Jacob, Taylor is PERFECT as Jacob!!!

Below is a letter from Chris Weitz and Stephenie Meyer officially confirming that Taylor Lautner will stay as Jacob in New Moon. I found it on Stephenie Meyer's website, she posted it. I took a screen capture of her post on her website:
