I think number 2 also suits New Moon for Edward's point of view. The lyrics can match Edward because its about regret for whatever he has done for leaving Bella and for bringin her into his world...because of what he is (vampire). What i've done can stand for....puttin Bella in danger....and then leaving her and givin her pain because of the fact that he left. Idk....i guess it works right?
