twilight is a young adult book, its not for 12 year olds...n they dun even do anything in the first book, theres nothing perverted about it, but then again lil 12 year olds get excited about everything lol. its not the authors fault, n every library i went to has twilight under the young adult section

i think ur title is a bit inappropriate
ps-twilight mania will never die (i hope)

Oh I completely understand what you are saying. 13 years and younger should not read this book, they are not yet mature enough for it.

I don't find it perverted or lusty, yes in Eclispe it does take it a bit far, but it is okay if your old enough and understand. But for anyone younger than 13 I dont think they should read it.

Though there is nothing we can do about it, but hope that someone sees sense to put it in the young adult section. or maybe someone can write to get it put in the young adult section.

I agree with everyone esp Meena in whatever she said..I JUST got finished with Twilight and didnt ind anything perverted or absurd..this story is an eternal LOVE story...not lust or anything like that...Not to be rude but it seems as if you didnt read the book properly...because almost every page you can feel the love between Edward and Bella....and as for 12 year olds reading Twilight...its THEIR choice or their parents...it really should be up to them if they want to read it or not...and trust me all the 12 year olds I know who read the books are mature for their age and understand it and you as a teacher well I can see your concern but just talk to your students about it...TRUST me teacher-student conferencing is so helpful.....
and PLEASE NEVER say Twilight is a nonsense...because it is NOT

The only mistake lies in I would say be in the bookstores then. Lol! Well almost everyone saying mainly this book is for teens, not young kids, the book should not have been tagged as a Kid's book at the first place.

Completely agree! 👏
blame the bookstores 😛
cuz they did the mistake of putting it in the kids section, when its not meant to be!

Guys, I understand that you all are die-hard Twilight fans and won't hear anything said against it, but my concerns are not unfound. You have to admit that it is not a really good read for 12 and youger. And obviously there are lots of 12 year olds who are mature for Twilight, but most aren't.

^YES but thats their choice....I mean people should be aware that this book is NOT for 12 yr olds...and its their choice or their parents to see if its right for them or not...and it also depends on the kids itself...I mean if the kid is mature enough then let them go ahead and read it...and if not then its their problem isnt it? The author or the book has nothing to do with it IMO

How would people be aware that Twilight is not for 12 and under if it's placed in the children's section of the bookstore?😕
True, it's their choice to read any book they want. No one has the right to tell them anything, right?😉 And it's also their choice to have sex before marriage, smoke, drink, join a gang, you name it. Everything is completely the choice of kids, and no one has the right to contradict them, because kids are so well informed about the world they live in and the books they read.🤔
Well said, really well said.👏👏👏
And I never said the author was to blame, by the way.🥱
