After watching today's episode, Ria's out burst. I know they have not been clear on her back story...but for some reason when she said today that "thank god she did not get emotionally attached " to any of them. had me thinking She never had that opportunity to bond with Veer as she should.
1 . because I think He him self seems to bee an akward sort of geeky guy, judging form what we saw of him recently. A sharp lawyer true, but shy when it comes to his personal life. As he told Paakhi today, he could not let the woman know how he really felt about her.
2. So he gets a ready made 7 year old girl to take care off. A bachelor and young Lawyer at the time. Focusing on his career was important. So what options he had?...leave her in the care of Naany's or Boarding school. Today Ria said she basically took care of her own needs. which led me to think maybe boarding school.
Having already lost both her parents, and having a person here now who was probably busy , akward and have no idea how to handle a girl child. He took care of everything that money could buy...but never really opened up to her.
Sure he probably corrected her when she did something wrong, like today, but failed to congratulate her when she achieved anything good.
EG. the Designs he was very proud of it and was telling Pakkhi how much... but never mentioned it to Ria her self. Instead he gave her a car.
Today he was quick to ask her to leave, after she told him she did not hurt Aayan.
Paakhi is right... it is important to show people how you feel at times not just say quite. Now her task is to some hw get these two to open up to each other and get past all that awkwardness, hurt and issues they have between them for the past 11 years.
Lets see how she dose this. And I hope soon, as Ria is on the cusp of her life where she can either choose the wrong path, destroying some ones marriage... or focus on her career and realize there are other fishes in the sea . And from the precap ... Anuja is going to push this child further onto the path of self destruction!!!
